> 3 dayI was looking for a plug that can be controlled automatically because I figured that I can make my home appear occupied and this 2 pack seemed like a no brainer. The price was so cheap so I was not expecting too much but I was pretty surprised when I gave it a try. This device was simple to set up and they add a USB port to every plug where this is placed. I do not really use the Alexa feature but I do use the remote control option through the app which helps me add more custom options such as schedules to the devices that are connected. I plugged in my Christmas tree to one of these and set a schedule that automatically turned it off during the morning and on during the day. Right now I just have a couple of lamps connected to them with a random schedule that makes it seem like there is always someone at my home. There really are no cons with this product, it does not block the other ports and, like I mentioned before, it adds a USB plug. Overall great product that does not really make any compromises. There really is no feature that I felt was left out of this device. The price is affordable and I think believe I get an awesome deal. I hope this review helps you make an educated decision with your purchase.

> 3 dayI have about 70 smart devices now in my house, all alexa integrated. Most of them are wifi LED lights but right after that, the next largest group is smart wireless plugs like this. And I have to say these are my new favorites. First of all, they PERSIST the setting in case of a power outage. So many others always default to OFF if power is interrupted, even for a split second, during a storm. These are on again if they were on when power was removed, and off again if they were off when power was lost. Second - a full 15 amps. Many of the ones I have only support lower amp totals. Some 10, others I had were as low as 8. This is a 15 amp plug, 1800w. Third - monitoring and history. Want to know how much electricity something is using? This is the plug to get. I had a similar one for my fridge and other spots around the house, so I can see where my energy goes. Fourth - Smart Life app. When I first started getting my house set up for voice control, I ended up with far too many other apps and it was annoying trying to remember which app had what devices on it. Yes, all were Alexa integrated, but if I needed to do something via the app, I really didnt like having to swipe around to find which app the device was in. So I decided at that point, never again anything that doesnt support Smart Life. So these work. Period. Setup was as simple as anything ever is with the Smart Life app, seen instantly by the app, on the wireless quickly. No issues. A bit more expensive than the other ones I have were, but again, these are full 15 amp, and can monitor usage. You get what you pay for.

19-12-2024Energy monitoring is a welcome feature that I wish more smart outlets would include as a default. Apparently my desktop computer setup uses 11 watts while idle even with everything turned off. Cant wait to see how much energy I can save with my entertainment setup too. EZ Mode failed after several attempts, AP Mode worked but was a bit of a struggle. AP Mode creates its own wifi hotspot that your phone is supposed to connect to and pass along the 2.4 Ghz network details that way. But with most Android phones if a Wifi connection doesnt have internet, like the outlets hotspot it will drop the connection and reconnect to your default wifi so in order to complete the process you need to have your phone forget your normal local wifi connections for the duration of the setup. After all that it works very well with the associated app and integrates perfectly with Google Home.

17-12-2024These smart plugs are exactly what I was looking for. The set up is really quick and and the app is easy to use. I downloaded the Smart Life app onto my phone. The app walks you through the steps of setting up your plugs by connecting it to your wifi. You can also connect these to Alexa or Google home if you want. But your phone acts as the remote control. You can turn the power to the plug on and off with a simple touch of a button within the Smart Life app. Whats even better, is that you can set up specific timers for the plug. I have programmed the plug to turn my childs Christmas tree lights on and off at a specific time. This would also work great for turning on a night light or bedtime music/white noise in your childs room at a specific time and then turning it off too. I am also using one of these to control my plant lights. Now my plant lights turn on in the a.m. and off when I go to bed, without me doing anything except the initial set up! The possibilities of where you can use these are endless. These are so worth the money! Definitely recommend.
