Greater than one weekAwesome product! Integrates with the Smart Home app, IFTTT app and Alexa within moments. Ive only owned this product for a few weeks, however I have several of the same plugs under a different manufacturer label and they work very well and have held up over a few years. The current price 12/2020 of the 10A four pack is the best I have seen to date for the same product.

> 3 dayPurchased 2 of these intending to use at my remote lake cabin - 1 on my router (for power reset if/when needed) and 1 for a well pump to control on / off remotely. 1 of the outlets worked for the first use only, then, even though the WIFI on/off function worked, the outlet wouldnt actually turn on. The 2nd outlet worked for multiple cycles however, upon setting these outlets up, I learned that these outlets work ONLY on local WiFi e.g. the outlet(s) and your phone app need to be connected to the same WiFi network LOCALLY. These outlets are NOT intended to be managed remotely over the internet. Ill be returning these outlets. The fact that the outlets cant be managed when used remotely wasnt clear in the product descriptions / details.

Greater than one weekWorks perfectly with Google Home and Mini. Set up and connect to Home/Mini via Smart Life app. Its a few extra steps but it works and you dont need to tell Home to connect to Smart Life app first like before. Just say Hey Google turn on living room lamp and bingo! Cant beat the price either. The only negative is that its a little big so partially covers adjoining socket on power strip.

> 3 dayOur wifi security is set up to only allow by the MAC address and cannot connect to wifi so I tried it on bluetooth but only works when my phone is in the room which is not often so it doesnt work! Put our old timer back on until they can provide me with a MAC address, useless unless we want to open our home to hackers.

> 3 dayMy electric bill is going up, and up. Most likely thanks to Covid and stay at home. But I needed to take charge of the situation and identify if anything can be done to bring it under control. Step one was to identify the big power hogs. Then I’ll move to the clusters – power strips with lots of items hooked up to. This smart plug is designed very well. It does not cover any part of the adjacent plug on the wall, going sideways instead of a cheaper solution – Round. Adding to SmartLife app was a breeze. Usually I do it in an outlet convenient to me, and after I add it, I unplug and then unplug the select appliance (a Fridge to begin with), plug the smart plug then plug the appliance in. BTW, once you add the plug to SmartLife, Alexa will automatically add it as well. No need for any extra work. In SmartLife one goes to “ELECTRICAL” (bottom of the plug screen) and he’ll see the total power consumption for the period. In my case it crosses 2 KWh per day. This should help me assess if I can justify replacing my 18 years old fridge. Hopefully this review helps people trying to understand and solve their high electric bills.
