After you let go of the power button be careful as the steam will still come out and the hose can move around easy. Both my daughter and I got 2nd degree burns from it. The first one I got was defective and also leaked. Havent had a chance to try the new one.

I bought this as new and received it used, previous buyer still had Amazon shipping label on it. Finally got around to using it and of course it doesnt work. Steam barely comes out, tried multiple attachments and main mop and was very disappointed. If I could return it I would but sadly the window for that closed.

It is a bit on the heavy side for senior. Also difficult to push. Tried steaming an upholstered chair but there were no appreciable results. It is, however, very good for cleaning bare floors.

LOVE this. It got things clean that I’ve been struggling to get clean for YEARS. All the attachments make it so you can clean basically everything and anything, without toxic chemicals. HIGHLY recommend.

I had a cheaper version of a steam mop and thought this would be a better option. The steam mop being useful for other types of cleaning not just floor made me buy. There are attachments that come with it, the amount of steam is good. There are 2 water holding tanks and not just one. Its kind of heavy when you try to carry and use at the same time. This works for a clean floor, not a dirty floor. If you have hard water be careful when using. I have hard water stains after using when I used the tap water and used vinegar to remove stains. The attachment for tile type cleaning falls off, the steam is super hot and could burn your skin easily. Basic average steam mop, attachments are okay and its heavy to carry around. The price is high but has lasted after using many times. The quality is better than other steam mops purchased around this price point.

Used this in everything in my home, carpets, mattress, tile, windows, then it just stopped working after 2 months. Customer service at Hoover is a joke!!

I really love being able to clean those super hard to clean spaces like the edges of stairs, grout, baseboard registers, etc... Its amazing for all of it. It also cuts through grease really easily, so kitchen cleaning is great. The floors are quite easy and it leaves a nice clean feeling - also dries quicker than a mop or swiffer. Only complaint is that the attachments make a very loud whistling type of sound - I need to wear ear plugs or I feel like Ive been at a concert after using it >.<

At first I liked this mop. It’s my second steam mop - my first was a Bissell which after 3 years died on me. I was told Hoover is far superior. At first this is great - the shape is perfect to get into all the corners and crevices and the fact that you can take the mops apart to use as a handheld steamer or a carpet cleaner all sounds great, right? Thing is it doesn’t really clean unless your constantly pressing that steam trigger - which the instructions say not to do. When I don’t use it, there’s no heat, there’s no steam and the floors just don’t get clean. My Bissell got too wet but it cleaned far better than the Hoover.

I’ve had this for 8 months and used less than 10 times. It worked great until it blew up and the nozzle broke. I contacted Hoover for a replacement but this is not an authorized retail seller so the warranty was voided. Had I known, I would’ve just bought it at a store and not from Amazon. So sad.

Uncertain as to how it actually cleans. It steams well but you dont use any chemicals or cleaner, so I am not sure how clean my rugs really are. Guess I am old fashioned.
