> 24 hourThis stuff is legit. Just as good as the big box names and a fraction of the cost. Goes on easy. Smoothes put nicely and quick. Very easy to work with does what it says it does. One box goes a long way while doing a jeep wrangler. Only used about a quarter of the box so far and have gotten the rear cargo area floor done and the passenger front floor pan. Highly recommended. Just be sure to get the three size install rollers and it will make your life easier.

> 24 hourIve bought this twice now for two separate restore jobs. Its pretty easy to apply to the metal. Its pretty easy to position where you want it and then cut out the areas for the seat bolts and seat belt bolts. If you prewire the stereo wires to the back, this stuff will also cover up those wires pretty well. buying the roller was a waste of money. I stopped using it and just used my hand to press this stuff down since the floor of the truck isnt smooth and the back is that shiny slick foil stuff. I also noticed that when I had small areas of over lap, like when I was setting in an inside corner with two pieces, if you press a little harder you can hardly tell its double thick-just in case youre wondering if it could make the carpet bulge a bit, it doesnt.

> 24 hourThis is a lot of material and it goes a long way. I did the back wall of my truck and have at least 35 sheets left. I may add more elsewhere. It cuts super easy with scissors or a razor knife and molds into place. I got the roller tool which was great for flat areas and found a screwdriver handle worked great for smaller, hard to reach areas.

> 24 hour1993 gmc yukon 2 door interior refresh project. 2 boxes of this product will get you the roof, side panels and 90% of the passenger cabin. Kilmat estimates 130 sqft for this project so they are pretty close. Ill buy another box to finish, then cover it with Noico 315mm closed cell foam sheets. This will be so much quieter and warmer in the Montana winters! Pointers: scrub the surfaces then go over with an alcohol rag then a tack cloth. Make sure its really clean. After laying down a sheet use a roller to really smash this stuff into the seams. No really, go over it again until all the little squares have been smoothed out. If you want, mommas rolling pin will work for the big areas. Next I suggest laying closed cell foam over the top. This will increase the sound deadening and help keep your car comfortable.

> 24 hourThe stuff is a must if you have a van. My van is now a quiet as any car I have driven. I tried several brands and Kilmat was by far the easiest to install.

> 24 hourI bought the 50 square foot package and it came in just the right sizes that made it and easy job to piece them together and get great coverage. This is the floor of a 1976 F150. These sheet metal floors are usually quite tinny and transmit road noise. With only a couple of sheets installed I could already tell it was working and it looks great too! I bought a package of three sizes of rollers to facilitate the install.

> 24 hourI have used many sound deadening materials before. And the cost is normally outrageous. What I got in this pack did exactly what I needed it to.

> 24 hourBought this to sound deaden a few things around the house, ive used Fatmat in the past and this seems to be just as good i also like that it has those rectangular bumps to let you know if it was applied with enough pressure. Used to sound deaden metal cart for 3d printer, my kitchen sink and my stainless steel trash can would defiantly recommend to put some on the bottom and sides under kitchen sink it kills the cheap tinny sound when doing dishes

> 24 hourI prefer this to thicker offerings because it allows for flexibility. I can double up layers in more resonant spots and do single layers in spots that don’t need much help, or where I just want heat isolation. This product is not a noise isolation product, it is a damping material for panel resonance. It will do a little but if you are looking to substantially lower road noise level, this is not the product to use. With that said, it is the best damping material per sqft and price on the market.
