> 24 hourI purchased this monitor to get more screen real estate for working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Its great to be able to have a Zoom or Teams meeting going, have a document or browser window open, and to be able to keep an eye on my email without having to constantly minimize or move windows around. The image quality is excellent - very sharp and clear with natural looking color. Contrast is also very good, although black levels are not as good as on a higher end modern television or mobile device with an OLED panel. But, you really only notice at night in a darker room. The matte screen also lets me have my home office setup in front of a set of windows without fighting glare. Onscreen text looks great, and the night mode preset that lowers brightness levels and shifts whites to a warmer hue is also nice when working late. Video looks very good, although I havent been able to get Netflix and Amazon to stream to the monitor in 4K. Im using the latest and greatest version of usb-c to connect to a late-model HP laptop. If anyone has troubleshooting tips, let me know. But, non-protected 4k content from sites like YouTube looks great. This monitor doesnt have a high refresh rate by 2020 standards, though, so gamers and people watching live sports might be happier looking elsewhere. The 2-way adjustability of this monitor makes it really comfortable to use for long workdays. The stand is also surprisingly solid and more premium than it looks in the photos. I assumed it would be plastic, but its metal. So, I have no worries about accidentally tipping the monitor off my desk when adjusting the screen. It is also ingeniously simple to assemble without tools or messing with a bunch of little screws. Overall, this is an almost ideal monitor for working from home, and LG seems to have prioritized productivity over entertainment in its design choices, which is great for me. It has a modern, minimalist design compared to a lot of other options with overwrought styling intended to appeal to gamers, which is nice since my office is also our family room. And, IMHO, matte screens are MUCH more pleasant for reading and writing than glossy models. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourLike a lot of people, I was trying to find the perfect 4k monitor with USB-C capability to have a display for my MacBook Air M1. This monitor is great because not only is the text sharp but it also charges your MacBook. This is easy to use and worked straight out of the box.

> 24 hourDCI-P3 98% coverage, brain dead color calibration, 4k, 32in, and the blacks are similar to my va monitors. Checks all the boxes off my list. The refresh rate could be higher but that doesnt matter for my work so this is a 5 stars from me. Nice value from what I can tell.

> 24 hourI connect this monitor to my M1 MacBook Air and it works great. I keep the MacBook in clamshell mode and it charges nicely while using the monitor. There also seems to be a battery health think going on because it will go down to 80% and then back up to 100%. I think this is Apple keeping the battery moving and healthy. Would not hesitate to recommend this monitor to those in my situation. The con is that the speakers are not great - they are OK. Other than that - wonderful monitor.

> 24 hourIm not going to write a long review, but Im a programmer and this monitor is the perfect size for my desk and the resolution gives me just the right amount of real estate. Im sure its good for gaming to, but I have tried that at all. One thing that really impressed me is that I plugged the included USB-C cable into my laptop (very new Lenovo) and it powers the laptop and does video. My whole setup has just one power plug now, which is amazing! My laptop charger now stays in its bag.

> 24 hourAlthough I am aware this is a productivity monitor first, I was in the market for a 4K60 Monitor that could game well and would not break the bank. I am used to gaming on console so 120FPS support was not something I required as I am satisfied with 60FPS. I did endless amounts of research on various brands in this pricepoint to figure out what would be the best monitor in terms of screen quality and response time. This specific model did not have many reviews in terms of gaming performance, however I did know that LG makes great gaming monitors, this one has a game mode, and I was already looking at the LG 4K model priced below this one. When this model went on sale, I took a risk and purchased it over other highly praised monitors in this price point not knowing if it would be good for gaming, and I can answer that YES it is! Starting with screen quality, brightness is great, contrast is beyond expectation, white, gray, and black uniformity are all top notch, with little to no IPS glow. Colors are accurate and the resolution keeps things sharp. No complaints. For gaming, when you put this monitor directly side by side with a high refresh gaming monitor, it is extremely noticeable that this will not be as fast of a monitor as something gaming dedicated in terms of response time, however it is much more responsive than a normal 60FPS TV or other productivity based screens. I also have a 15 inch macbook retina display, and the response time on this monitor is atleast twice as good. Unless you are an ultra competitive high refresh gaming enthusiast, you will not notice any kind of input lag or poor pixel response in this monitor. It is just as good or better than playing console on a high end TV, and in gaming scenarios, I personally can not tell the difference between the response time on this monitor and my LG gaming monitor. It is only when using UFOTest that the difference becomes very apparent, and this mainly comes down to the difference in FPS. If I ran my dedicated LG gaming monitor at 60FPS, the response would be about the same. In short, if you are used to gaming on console with a TV and are looking for a responsive 60FPS display to prioritize image quality and play mostly singly player games with high settings, get this one and you will not have any regrets. If you are looking for the fastest thing in gaming and play mostly multiplayer competitive games you shouldnt even be reading this review. If you CAN afford it, I would highly recommend a 4K120 gaming monitor for the best of both worlds. In this price point with realistic expectations in mind, this is a fantastic monitor!
