Use this to prepare canvas for painting. Ive also used on suitcases to paint something on them for traveling. Hard to find in Alaska so I use Amazon for my go to shopping when I need things I cant find local.

It does a beautiful job of priming canvases.

very smooth gesso, perfect for sketchbooks to work over with ink, watercolour and pencils.

I have been experimenting with painting acrylic on wood where I let the wood grain show. However some wood wont take paint without some kind of medium to bond the two. This is where this Liquitex clear gesso came in.
