Liquitex Professional Gesso Surface Prep Medium, 3.78L (128-oz), Clear

This is my second bottle purchase. I like to use it on paint by numbers canvas whether it was treated by manufacturer or not. It primes the canvas making it easier to paint as acrylic paint tends to stick better to the canvas. Using clear gesso allows the numbers in the canvas to be seen so theres no problem painting. It does seems to damage the brush hair faster as gesso primed canvas tends to be a bit sandy, but I like it as it makes painting so much easier and faster.

Best i couldve gotten i wish iyt wasnt so pricey but glad i went with this brand i thinkmill keppnto thos brand beforeni ever try to save the few bucks.

Thinner than other products I use and some what more chalky when dry. Good color strenth.

Came just in time. Someone brought me a used canvas, and I needed the gesso to create a new surface. FYI, Gesso still works.

This was for an Art Club meeting and I was pleased I had bought the Super Heavy as someone else had bought the lighter (runnier) version and we mixed and matched the two.
