Works great. I was first trying to feed internet from second floor to the first floor over electrical network, but it was loosing about 75% of bandwidth (from 120mbs down to 30mbs) because the electrical outlets were not on the same circuit of my house. With these moca transmitters I loose about 5mbs out of 120mbs so I almost get my full bandwidth without running cat6 cable around the house.

I definitely do not get the 1000 Mbps mentioned, but this was a HUGE upgrade over the EoP that I was previously using.

I installed Netgear Orbi RBK-50 in my home and detached garage. I wanted a wired backhaul between the 2 units but only had coax between the buildings. The Motorola MoCA adapters work perfectly. I’m getting the 400Mbps I’m paying for anywhere on my acre. No reason to doubt the adapters could handle Gigabit Ethernet, though I haven’t tried it.

Easy to install connected to each other right away no confusing programming necessary. Awesomely fast wired connection in rooms nowhere near router places that barely received Wifi getting close to gig speeds (wired) great for adding a second wireless gateway to your home just perfect in every way don’t know how or why I did not Know about or buy sooner. A must have for gamers as well put gig speed in any room with a cable connection My son loves that his genius geek dad installed these LOL!!!

I have a small cabin that has a cable to it , but is on the outer limits of wifi signal from my house. These MOCA adapters have enabled a good reliable signal over cable.

Raised download speed to over 350 mps.

It will not work with Comcast. Tried everything and even had the rep on the phone try to make it work for almost 2 hours. We were both curious if it was human error or just incompatible. As soon as the filters are installed and the MoCA is enabled via the gateway; all the WiFi and internet went down. Tried a few times and it just kept occurring. tested it on my friends Fios set up and it worked amazingly.

I needed this to get ethernet to a metal outbuilding I have that houses my home gym. My peloton kept having wifi issues, so I needed a wired solution. I already had ~100ft coax connection that hooked up to my main cable box outside via a tap. I removed that tap and disconnected the external cable signal (I have fiber internet and streaming tv). I then connected the feed from my master closet box to the 100ft external coax via a coax coupler. I dont know the length of the internal coax cable but I suspect its ~50ft. So 150ft of coax with a coupler in the middle. Then one of these boxes on each end. I was hoping to get 100-200mbps, but based on my speed test attached, Im seeing at least 820mbps. It might be able to deliver the full 1gbps as my internet connection speed can vary 750-1000mbps. I suspect people having connection speed issues are dealing with reduced signal quality (splitters or long runs or both), or interference while running other services over the same cables (cable, internet/etc). These can hit the full advertised speed if you have ideal conditions. Long story short, this is awesome as I now have my full gigabit internet connection available in my out building. Currently Im just using my peloton (only 100mbps), but this will also allow me to add additional devices later if need be. I just hooked it up, so I dont know about reliability, but Ill try and update if I hit anything in the future.

Did not work in my home. Installed everything by the book. Perhaps they’re not compatible with newer Xfinity modems? Quality of construction seemed good though.
