> 3 dayI purchased this to connect an exterior AP to my router and there was no economical way to run Ethernet. I had previously tried the power line adapters but the connection speed was not fast enough. I plugged these in and immediately had a blazing fast connection. I’m not exactly sure the speed but I’m pretty sure it’s very close to the advertised 1Gbps. I do not have cable tv or internet so my coaxial wiring in my house is wide open for max bandwidth which is probably why this works so good for me.

> 3 dayLooks decent, works well most of the time. From time to time it knocks off and requires a power cycle to work again. The cable isnt shared with any TV signal so it is likely not interference on the line. But thats rare and it mostly works fine, so Im happy with it.

> 3 dayI have coax cable in the walls designed for Cable TV and installed in 1991. Using that with two of these adapters, I consistently get over 900 Mbits/second in both directions. I have had them installed for a couple of months and the connection has been 100% reliable. This setup does not share the cable with Cable TV or any other device and has no splitter in the circuit.

> 3 daySo far a great performer. Installation relatively easy. More than Quadrupled my existing Download speeds(38Mbps to over165 Mbps.) Highly recommend you change all your CAT Cabling to the highest performance cable on your system. If not, speed will be limited to lowest performing cable on the system. I went ahead and changed ALL my CAT Cabling to CAT 7. In a lot of instances , for some reason, CAT 7 cable is cheaper than CAT6 or 6a.

> 3 dayWhy was I paying Brighthouse for their Echo ecosystem? This is the same if no a better solution for your network via coaxial cable. Simple to set up and faster results.
