> 3 dayI wanted hardwired ethernet in my room upstairs, and my router is in my basement. I have Fios already so MoCa was already built into the system. I did not have to wire it to the router at all. I got two adapters for because I thought I had to wire it up the old way, but the new Fios service has MoCa enabled already. You only really need one of these adapters if you have newer Fios! Simply take your cable going to your STB plug it in to this adapter, and then you will have hard wire ethernet! I have this going to an unmanaged switched, and then to my PS4, and STB from Fios that has an ethernet portand Coax (Coax not used anymore to pass signal, only ethernet) . Its been working great. So now instead of using wifi for everything I have a switch for my PS4 hardwired, and then another ethernet cable going to my Fios STBs ethernet port. Tv and PS4 work beautifully. Very simply put this adapter in-line where you want internet and it works. (newer Fios only) Older systems you will need to put this in-line at the router and the location where you want to receive internet.

> 3 dayMost of my network is Cat6/Ethernet, but I had a need for one critical stretch to go via cable. I bought this for the promised speed and didnt expect any problems - single line, no competing signals, matched adapters, short run (40 ft or so). It didnt deliver. Set up was easy. connect the cables, put in the power, and go. For the short time I had it, performance was reliable. The problem was that I was getting Moca 1.1 speeds (175Mbps) consistently. As far as I can tell, there is no turn on bonding or go fast button or switch that I failed to press. It just slowed my entire network down to Fast Ethernet speeds.

> 3 dayWas having some major issues with my Airport Base Station to Airport Express WiFi Extended network pushing a quality signal around my house. Decided to give these adapters a try and am not disappointed. After a little reconfiguring of the spiderwebbed coax and splitters in my house (from multiple service installs prior to me buying), the adapters set up easy and everything works perfectly. I’m now seeing full internet speeds (150-200mb/sec) in parts of the house that were struggling to get WiFi. Would definitely recommend if you need to improve your connection speeds. One note, the instructions state you cannot use this with amplified splitters in your house. That added some install time/troubleshooting initially to get everything working properly.

Greater than one weekI have installed FiOS, but, I have needed to connect from Electric Room to the other room. but, it is blocked with couple of wall. Fortunately, there is a coax connection. so, I have tried with it. at electric room, connect from FiOS to MM1002 by Ethernet Cable, and I have connect a Coax and, installed the other MM1002 adapter at the other room. connect a Ethernet Cable between MM1002 and My Router. and, Coax on MM1002. Just plug in, and power-up. my FiOS service is 300Mbps, it shows Up/Down 300Mbps perfectly. Coax cable is very old one, and, Distance is around 50 feets

Greater than one weekIm probably shooting myself in the foot but these have been working for me, and have given me zero issues to date. I had been using the actiontec moca adapter for about a year, it never worked perfect. It would work Ok for a while, then one or more of my moca-connected devices would just lose connectivity. The only resolution was to power cycle the actiontec. I have fairly good visibility into issues on my network but no way to troubleshoot the MOCA frequencies, or whatever was going on between the devices. I had previously used a verizon fios router as my moca connection, which never had issues, but I wanted to dump it for a better router + use something specific for the moca. I was very disappointed that the actiontec didnt just work. I switched to these and after 3 months, zero issues. I use this to connect some Tivo minis to their mothership tivo bolt, and my Xbox in a location where I dont have a wired link, so Im checking whether it works on a daily basis, and it hasnt failed me yet.

Greater than one weekWorks great. I was first trying to feed internet from second floor to the first floor over electrical network, but it was loosing about 75% of bandwidth (from 120mbs down to 30mbs) because the electrical outlets were not on the same circuit of my house. With these moca transmitters I loose about 5mbs out of 120mbs so I almost get my full bandwidth without running cat6 cable around the house.

> 3 dayneeded a new wired Ethernet drop in a location where it would be VERY difficult to pull new cable. But, there was an existing RG-6 coax drop nearby. So, I put these MOCA adapters at each end of the drop, pulled the Ethernet from one to a switch, and from the other to the office equipment. Works perfectly.
