Since I was not looking for a smart switch, this was more than adequate. I was able to hook each room and TV to the switch so I could watch movies from different computers.

Addendum to original review. Horrible product and horrible customer service. Less than 8 months old and 3 ports go dead. Took days to reach customer support. Claimed only 90 day technical support and wanted me to purchase a plan to get help. I explained it’s a plug and play unmanaged switched so there is nothing to trouble shoot and that I wanted the product replaced under the 3 year warranty which she explained was only a one year warranty (even though description on amazon and box says 3 years). The cost of shipping and replacing was the cost of buying a new one. Never again will I purchase a Netgear product. STAY AWAY!

Perfect!... its fantastic product!

I have been using this similar model for 10 years and its reliable and easy to use.

Works as expected with my patch panel and Orbi setup. Solid speeds (Typically see 130 -170MB/sec over my whole home cat5e backbone.

Either doesnt work at all or is very difficult to set up. Dont buy this unless you know what youre doing I guess. Thought it would be intuitive but it isnt.

Great price, easy to install, does the job. I was happy to replace a collection of 4 port hubs for a real switch.

Brand name, quality, solid built. This has a lightweight aluminum frame. I like that much better than the cheaper plastic brands.
