Wifi is nice but sometimes you just cant beat a wired connection. My TV was having issues getting a steady wifi signal and I needed to expand the ports of my router. Product works great! Easy to use and easy to set up. plug and play and forget.

I installed this because of the capacity on 1 T but ever since I started to have internet problems. After spending a bunch in an IT guy and multiples calls to comcast we figure out it was this equipment and have to ins tall my old one again. NO more problems. It was too late to return it so we lost $89.99

It was plug and play. So far its working great.

I have two of these. I ran Ethernet in my house to fix having to deal with backhaul for my WiFi network and while the nodes I have offer 3 ports this is woefully short in my office and near the entertainment center for the multiple devices I have. This switch easily expands your network and keeps everything at high speed. It’s plug and play easy and comes with wall mount screws so you can tuck it way in a cabinet or service area. Super easy, affordable and reliable.

In my usage model, I have this switch on one end of the house, wired to a switch next to the router in the front of the house which has the gateway. It seems to work just fine as long as you leave the ports static and dont disconnect a laptop and move it to a different port on the same switch. Basically I have one dock with my PC connected and I want to move to another desk with just the Ethernet cable and plug in there, it causes the switch to do something to upstream traffic - seemingly confusing my network up to my router. This causes the internet gateway to effectively drop for all users in the house. I have to turn this switch off and then on again, which resolves the problem.

Had an old 16 port Switch and it was giving me problems. Removed the old model and replaced it with this one and it worked right away without any installation of a driver or anything.
