Note that this GS308 is for gigabit ONLY. If you have a wired printer or wired streaming device then probably it uses Fast ethernet at only 100 megabit/second, and will NOT work with this GS308; get the GS108 instead.

it is a nice item for simple networking for computers but not for other internet divices

It does exactly what it is supposed to do, completely plug and play.

Due to working from home, Ive increasingly been getting frustrated with wifi drops - not a problem anymore! I bought this to run Ethernet to my bedroom and plug in three devices - work laptop, personal laptop, and Xbox, and they all work flawlessly. Since this is an unmanaged switch, it basically acts as an extension of the Ethernet ports on your router. It does not have a management interface, and doesnt interfere with your network at all - it also is not a security vulnerability being another device to configure/setup/manage.

Switch works as advertised, ran some cat 6 plugged them into the switch and voila. Streaming is working so much better after running hard lines.
