> 3 dayI am not rating apples with apples, as my model is GS116 (nothing after the 116)

> 3 dayAmazon advertised this model to have the LAG feature, which it does not. If thats the reason youre buying this switch, then stop. Otherwise, a good basic managed switch.

Greater than one weekGreat little unmanaged switch for my office. Plug and play. Im a bit disappointed that it doesnt power our Polycom VOIP phones. I should have researched that further before buying. I had the old blue version of this, which was noisy while switching. You could hear the clicks. This one doesnt make any noise.

> 3 dayHad the 8 port Prosafe managed switch. Needed more ports so I purchased this one. I copy a lot of large files and noticed this switch is slower than my 8 port (5 minutes instead of 2.5 minutes per 2GB). Still, much faster than 100 meg switches!

> 3 dayI added ethernet ports in every room during a remodel of my house. There are now 8 cables coming into a central closet. In addition, I have a router, and a security system plugged into this. I found out the hard way that it isnt simply like a splitter - I had to go from the modem to a router, plug this into the router, and then all of my ethernet outlets worked in each room. I have been using Netgear equipment (especially routers) for years, and they are usually reliable.

> 3 dayI got this to run some more hard wired networked devices in my home. I have had zero issues with this device since I installed it and it has worked just as I needed. Highly recommend if you need some extra networking ports.
