Oreck XL Vacuums Best Roller (1 Brush & 3 Belts)

Make sure to use a new belt. I did not and it worked awfully and broke. I installed one o e the belts that came with it and it works great now. I thought for sure I was going to have to buy a new vacuum.

Can’t beat this deal for the price. 3 belts and a roller. Only 5 screws held the cover on. Super easy to install. Vacuum works like new again!

I have an Oreck XL Pro Plus that is about 6 years old. Lately I just felt like it was really hard to push and wasnt sucking things up that well. I thought maybe I would have to get a new vac. I noticed the brush on my Oreck looked terrible, the bristles were all worn down and missing after so much vacuuming (I vacuum ALOT). I stumbled upon this new brush set and saw all the great reviews and decided for $12 to give it a try. WOW, my Oreck is like new again. Suctioning great, grooming the carpet great, super easy to push. It was so easy to change out too. Luckily my belt was in great shape after 6 years so didnt really need that but replaced it anyways. If your Oreck is not doing as well as before, get this, change the brush and it will be like NEW again! Cant beat the price. I think Ill start changing out the brush once a year or when needed since I vacuum so much. Love it!

A little difficult to install as the belt must be stretched.

Its close,and will work,but its not an oreck its a knock off.The belt seems really tight and wanders to the end of the motor shaft that turns it and rubs on the end causeing a burning rubber smell.I dont want to complain to much because it does work and they are resonable price.It could also be that my old oreck is out of whack.

From a mans perspective! Its the holiday season and I have picked up some of the slack around the house by doing some dusting and vacuuming after all the Christmas decorations are put out. I could not believe how HARD it was to vacuum, it was a real workout. No kidding, i was sweating pushing the Oreck vacuum. I asked my wife about what was wrong and she said, Nothing is wrong, it just pushes hard! There is no way it should be that hard to push a vacuum. After a very little research I found that replacing the roller was all that was needed. This roller took less than 5 minutes to install, just look at the old roller before removing it and the orientation will be obvious. After installation, NEW SWEEPER! Glides over the carpet like it should. And here is the interesting thing, the old roller had brushes that look really good. So if your Oreck pushes hard, replace this roller.
