Oreck XL Vacuums Best Roller (1 Brush & 3 Belts)

Followed instructions, easy to change, works well.

My Oreck XL is around 20 years old. For some reason I put it away. I dug this back out 2 weeks ago and took it apart to clean and noticed my belt was broken and my brush was pretty much junk. Probably why I put it away. These fit perfectly and its like I have a new vacuum.

This replacement roller brush for my Oreck XL fit perfectly. Its easy to install yourself and it came with 3 replacement belts.

We would have spent $100 or more at the vacuum repair shop replacing these parts, but thanks to advice from a friend, we saved the money and changing the parts was so easy

After installing this my sweeper picked up better and moved across the floor almost effortlessly. The bearings on my old brush died making it extremely difficult to push and use. This replacement makes my vacuum feel like its brand new. Its worth every penny and Ill definitely be buying again if I need to in the future.

So my 30 year old Oreck XL stopped picking up what I was vacuuming. Took it in for repair, and was quoted $185. Motor and brush needed repair. It occurred to me that the motor noise never changed, just the suction. I took a plastic sink snake (to grab hair out of the drain), and came in from the bottom, and pulled-out some serious chunks of who knows what? Suction is good! Now for the brush - ordered this replacement ($13+), and 10 minutes after delivery, my 30 year-old vacuum is literally good as new. And I saved $171+.

Used utube to do the repair and this item worked like a charm!

Make sure to use a new belt. I did not and it worked awfully and broke. I installed one o e the belts that came with it and it works great now. I thought for sure I was going to have to buy a new vacuum.
