Oreck XL Vacuums Best Roller (1 Brush & 3 Belts)

> 3 dayI needed belts and for a couple dollars more this kit included 3 belts and a brush. The belts were comparable in quality to the OEM. The brush didnt have quite the fit and finish of OEM but it installed easily and fit perfectly. I thought my old brush was fine, but noticed that it was worn down about half way compared to the new brush. After a cleanup, installation of the new belt and brush I remembered why I loved the Orecks so much. This kit brought new life and pride in my old vacuum. It also feels good having the spare belt in the spare belt holder again as well.

> 3 dayRemoved the 5 screws at base, and replaced old, worn brush with brand new brush and belt, fit perfectly as original.. Now work just like new! We have 2 Oreck XL upgrights, so i replaced brush and belt on both of them today.

> 3 dayI bought an Oreck for their simplicity and ease of repair. When I smelled burning rubber I knew it was either the belt or the brush. Turns out it was both. One order and 5 minutes later and the machine is back up and running ready for crumbs for years to come. Not bad for $13.

> 3 dayMy Oreck XL Anniversary edition wasnt picking up stuff and hard to push. I checked the roller and it was nearly threadbare! I did not want to have to take it to a vacuum shop, so DH said just try to order the part on Amazon. I ordered this set and it took him about 10 minutes to replace the roller and belt. WOW. Even he was impressed--so much so that he vacuumed a couple of rooms! The vacuum is nearly self-propelled, it is so easy to use, and all the suction is back. Note: Weve replaced just the belt before ourselves and while this helps, replacing both (if needed) is the only thing that makes the vacuum work like new. Great product!

> 3 dayFrom a mans perspective! Its the holiday season and I have picked up some of the slack around the house by doing some dusting and vacuuming after all the Christmas decorations are put out. I could not believe how HARD it was to vacuum, it was a real workout. No kidding, i was sweating pushing the Oreck vacuum. I asked my wife about what was wrong and she said, Nothing is wrong, it just pushes hard! There is no way it should be that hard to push a vacuum. After a very little research I found that replacing the roller was all that was needed. This roller took less than 5 minutes to install, just look at the old roller before removing it and the orientation will be obvious. After installation, NEW SWEEPER! Glides over the carpet like it should. And here is the interesting thing, the old roller had brushes that look really good. So if your Oreck pushes hard, replace this roller.

Greater than one weekSuper Fast Shipping!! Easy to install. However; I ordered the wrong brush for my Oreck vacuum. My model needed the magnet built-in the brush.

> 3 dayNot at all easy to install. Needes TORX head bits and the factory REALLY tightens them in place. TORX head screws are quite deep and most bits will not be long enough to reach the screws in that size.

> 3 dayMy mom has had an Oreck for years, and most of that time its been in a closet because its too hard to push and the belt would smell burnt after a short use. When she told me that I did some quick research. Orecks (and most vacuums) are very simple machines. The bearings on the roller were worn out, so I ordered this combo and replaced the brush & belt. Good as new now!

> 3 dayBought this because my vacuum did not pick up little bits of lint/small dirt, and im glad i did. The brush underneath was rolled up in lint string and hair, once i removed it, found out the belt was also done too. once i replaced both, it was like having a brand new vacuum. so what im saying is for the price...why not? cheaper then getting a new one.
