This item has to have a constant power voltage coming into it of 110 to 120 to keep your care battery charged

I live in my van, so getting power from outlets to charge my batteries is pretty important. I bought this because at the time I had access to an outlet. It worked as expected. It was a little louder than I wanted, but then again, I am in a VERY small space, and I am in very close proximity in the same space as this, so my experience is going to be a bit skewed as a result. But, given what its job is, and the power levels its dealing with, I cant blame this at all for that. It needs to cool itself. I have since lost the ability to use this as that outlet is no longer accessible to me, but for the time I was able to use this, it worked flawlessly. I plan to use it more in the future.

I replaced my RV converter with this, i expected it to be a temporary measure but its held up fine. Ive got 300 watts of solar panels so it doesnt generally have to do a lot of work but im still impressed it has lasted so long.

Very easy to install. The item has worked perfectly as described. The only downside is the fan. It is very noisy. We have our power supply underneath in our storage compartment, but we are able to hear the fan in the kitchen. Wished I would of known that before the purchase. It gets annoying especially when your trying to sleep.

I couldnt be any happier with this purchase! Great quality American made product at a reasonable price. Does exactly what its supposed to do right out of the box. My 20 year old 45 amp converter went belly up, so I replaced it with this 55 amp unit. Unit was on my doorstep within 48 hours. Took about 30 minutes to install including time to drill a couple of new holes to accommodate the larger unit. House batteries were fully charged within 12 hours and system voltage has been floating at 13.1 ever since.
