Powermax 110 Volt to 12 Volt DC Power Supply Converter Charger for Rv Pm3-55 (55 Amp)

Install was easy. Mounting holes were same spacing but 1/2” wider then old one. No biggie. You do hear the fan kick on and off if all is quiet in motor home. (But how often is that). The fan should allow for longevity. I like the constant even voltage, and keeping my batteries charged. It does still work if battery is removed.

Good power supply for ECU programming. Holds constant voltage during ECU module programming. Auto shut off if another power source is detected. Charged fully drained battery under 45 mins. Only con in this power supply is that it doesnt have power supply voltage reading measure display, you have to use volt meter to determine the measurement under fixed voltage supply. If you are programming BMW ECUs I recommend you set the fixed voltage to 14.2 vdc so your output value on terminal 15 and terminal 30 remains between 13.6 to 14 vdc. Voltage supply only fluctuates for the first few mins.

I recommend 200% this little one works so good, like a big monster..

Got this last May for my camper. Worked great until last week when the voltage regulator went out. I called the company and they shipped me a new one in 3 days.

Easy to install, the unit is very quiet, even with the fan running. Power is very very clean, my new 12v fridge runs great on it without the LED lights flickering like the other converter did.

Easy to install and simply works great. Can have all 12v lights in my travel trailer on and they never run down when the unit is on - which was not the case with the original unit i had. This Powermax is really a great repalcement unit

Old one wouldnt charge battery below 40. This one does the job, no issues. Happy with product.

I got this to replace my cheap supposedly 3 stage converter that only charged at 13.6V no matter what. This converter works as expected, 14.6 when batteries are low, 13.6 when filling up and 13.1 float. When the fan runs its not silent but not the loudest thing Ive heard either. Im sure this will help me recharge faster when I am boondocking on generator.

The converter arrived on time and worked perfect right out of the box! My motorhome batteries were low so it ramped right up to 14.6 volts, stayed there for about 2 hours, then dropped to 13.8 volts for about 4 hours then went to 13.2 volts and has maintained there ever since. The next day I turned on the furnace all of the lights and both tvs and it held steady at 13.3 volts. It has only been a few days, but at this point I couldnt be happier with this Power Max Converter!
