Greater than one weekCouldnt just plug it in to an older system so installation can be difficult. I am using in a truck camper. Now that it is installed I am very pleased with it so far.

> 3 dayPriced right. Good quality unit. I removed the World Products power supply and easily slid this in its place making no mods . Received it the day before leaving on my vacation. Charges my agm batteries well. Fan comes on as needed for cooling and does not run excessively, or as noisy like the World unit. There is a green led light next to the fuse that is handy for quickly check that it is functioning. I did not want to cut the ac plug off to wire it in so I used the end of an extension cord for the connection. this way I did not cut into the products original wiring. I am very happy with the performance of this converter/charger.

> 3 dayEasy to install, the unit is very quiet, even with the fan running. Power is very very clean, my new 12v fridge runs great on it without the LED lights flickering like the other converter did.

> 3 dayThis was purchased to replace a single-stage charger/power supply in an older travel trailer. The older units bulk charge only design apparently contributed to shortening the lifespans of several (ruinously expensive) deep cycle batteries, something I didnt want to see repeated. This units three-stage charging should help address that issue. This unit was of slightly different dimensions than its open-deck predecessor, necessitating some engineering of the plastic enclosure, but that was known at purchase, and was not an issue. The fan-noise is quite reasonable, and is only active when needed. While I didnt open the unit to see its contents, the good quality of the metal case and exterior connections leads me to believe the the same quality is present electronically, an opinion supported by solid output voltage/amperage over two weeks of initial use.
