Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Just swapped out my old tired hdd for this samsung evo 860 1tb and its night and day faster. I went from 1 min boot times to 10 secs even faster than my newer desktop by a few seconds. Samsung data migration was trash but I had to used another program with no problems.

A great bargain that completely upgraded my 9 year old Macbook Pro to the equal of a new laptop. It was exceptionally easy to install and now the Mac is a joy to operate.

Many of my purchases here are made in great part based on the reviews an item gets. With regards to this Samsung SSD, I have to say that I was very happy and satisfied with the results I got. What I had read about the speed at which pcs/laptops boot up after being upgraded to SSD drives was true! I upgraded the ddr in my HP Envy laptop to this 860EVO and got amazing boot up results! My HP would take an agonizingly long time to but up with the stock ddr. After upgrading, its a flash! My drive was in a factory sealed package, and did not include the migration software I read was included. But I went to the Samsung website and was able to download from there no issues. The instructions that came with the drive were crap. Along with the drive I ordered an SATA to USB cable (which you will need in order to complete the data migration from your existing drive to the the ssd). Ironically, the cable instructions told me exactly what I needed to do in order to initialize the ssd drive. The migration program then pretty much takes over and does the rest.

I give this product a 5 star all around except storage capacity. Incredible difference in loading speed on my PS4 Pro i am 100% satisfied. Was easy to install and easy to put the PS4 Pro system software on it. I am also very happy with my 1TB of space. The reason why i gave space a 2 star is because their are way higher option that offer better space with the SSD or if you dont care about SSD you can get a ton of space for cheap.

Feels like i bought my 2015 laptop yesterday.

Easy to set up, plenty of storage, runs great.

So good I bought it twice and have used it to supe up some old laptops. Better than the newer version at a fraction the cost.

Ive been buying the 850 but this one is even better and occasionally even cheaper. Definitely worth the money for PC upgrade.

Item is as described. Bought my first SSD around 5 years ago and since then I refuse to use anything but SSD drives. This item is no exception, you cannot go wrong w/ it.
