I installed this 500 GB model to my HP P7 -1110 desk top computer that has a second generation Core i3 processor and 6 GB of RAM at 1333 MHz. After the upgrade, my desktop runs super fast. With Optimization option activated, Samsung Magician speed test shows that the read speed is over 3000 Mbps and write speed is over 5000 Mbps.

Great for gaming

There was nothing to dislike about this drive. I used it to rebuild an old elitebook. The i7 really shines when paired with a lightning quick drive such as this. I intend to use these drives next time I do a build or rebuild.

Amazing speed insane like 10x faster than mechanical drive!!! The cheapest upgrade to get crazy boot times and apps opening. This is a no brainer

Bought this as a secondary drive for my gaming desktop and its working great not as fast as my m.2 but for secondary storage it works great

Samsung EVO is a great value, and adds speed to any computer using a traditional SATA hard drive!

Not a fanboy but when HDs give you myriads of issues migrating your OS to a new computer, forget about it. Just use Samsung. Their proprietary software makes it a breeze. I spent days in futile trying to get HDs from other manufacturers to migrate. Disclosure, I own alot of other brands as well.
