Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Very easy to install, need to format it before using (I didnt know to do that, so it took some time for me to figure that out). Great storage capacity. Its sturdy and has held up to being in my work bag well with no issues to the files.

Used this to replace a HDD in an iMac. Works like a charm. Boot times and ready to use times are impressive to say the least. Highly recommend this drive if you want a premium drive for everyday use especially for the drive your OS is on.

At first I was disappointed that there was no wiring harness to transfer data to the new hard drive. But, using the cable from the CD player and the transfer program supplied by Samsung, I had the data including operating system transferred to the new hard drive in fifteen or twenty minutes. Unplugged the old drive and plugged in the new. I didnt even remove the old hard drive. Just dropped the new one on the case floor and buttoned it up. It fired up in less than one minute. I am very happy with the solid state concept. Looking forward to more years out of my 2014 Dell, which I was considering replacing.

So far its been working as intended. Small enough and the specs are all correct.

I added this drive to my computer after a back up disk crashed it has increased performance greatly and I no longer need to worry about a disk crash. Simple and easy to install and a lot quieter too. My rating on gaming is low because I dont use gaming much.

this drive went into an older laptop and has completely changed this machines usability (for the better), its never been so fast. did not come with plastic spacer and the laptop I used has a grounding spring that did not allow the connector to align, I had a spare one spacer and everything is great.

I bought this as an easy way to upgrade the performance on my 2015 laptop. The data transfer software offered by Samsung is super simple to use and the magician software provides diagnostics and benchmarks. The laptop almost feels like a new computer. Take the plunge if youre thinking about doing it. Can highly recommend.
