> 3 dayThese drives are perfect for my needs. I have had 2- 1TB and now 2- 2TB. They are small, lightweight, and easily fit in a shirt pocket. I have had no negative experiences with them and will recommend them to everyone who has serious storage needs.

> 3 dayThe T7 1TB SSD wouldnt mount on my older MacBook Pro. No show in Disk Utilities, not at all. These older MBPs only supply 500 mA to non-Apple accessories whereas the T7 specs call for connection to a 1500 mA capable USB 3.2 source. I solved this and got the T7 to work as expected by using an external USB hub with a power connector. Then the T7 mounted and transferred data at high speed (500 MBps rated on the USB 3 SuperSpeed connection). And once recognized. no hub was needed for subsequent connection, the T7 mounts normally.

> 3 dayI bought this drive in hopes of saving an 2013 iMac with a failing Fusion drive. I wanted to use the T7 as the system disk. After several failed attempts to install Mac OS on the T7 and hours of troubleshooting, I determined the issue was the USB cable that came with the T7. After replacing the cable, the installation went smoothly and my iMac is running even better than new!

> 3 dayI have a mac m1 and a windows ryzen machine to test this t7. This is going to be my main game drive. With my mac m1 I got around 700 read and 500 write. With my ryzen machine I got around 350/350. Thats very slow compared to the advertised speeds from samsung (1050/900). This 2tb ssd looks better than the old 512 gb sandisk I have, its a premium device but for 250$ I was expecting more regarding the speeds. But I am happy with it, this samsung t7 its only for gaming so no biggie. 4 stars only for the speeds, but it looks solid and durable.

> 3 dayMy unit does not work well, constantly freezes when writing from a new Macbook Air and gets incredibly hot inside by Telsa. Additionally, the Tesla will often not recognize it and will not store footage.
