Loved this at first, but the pet power brush worked twice, then just quit within the first 2 weeks. Called customer service only to find out that accessories (the power brush, etc) are NOT covered under warranty at all!! So I paid $32+ for another one and that one didnt work at all! Called customer service again and they sent a 3rd one at no charge. That one didnt work at all, either- the fins wouldnt even move at all. I just now tried it one last time and got NOTHING. I literally cut the cord and put it at the curb for trash pickup tonight. Save your money and buy a lightweight vacuum from a company who actually gives a damn about the quality of their products.

Everytime I vacuum I need to pull the whole thing apart. gets clogged super easy, but you wont know its clogged. Looses power and you end up just pushing the dirt around. It can barely vacuum a 20x15 room wit out having to stop and pull it apart. would not buy again

Review for: Shark HZ602 Ultralight Pet Pro with PowerFins and Self-Cleaning Brushroll, Comet Red, 10.19 in L x 8.84 in W x 45.49 in H Shark has very nice quality stick, regular, and robotic vacuums. Ive been working through quite a few of them. The best feature of this vac honestly is the powerfins vs. the standard roller. I have two standard roller attachments for my $180 stick vacuum and I spend all the time pulling hair off it. This one has vastly improved defense vai the powerfins against that. Otherwise, the major flaw is that its corded. So youre not getting the benefits of having a cordless stick vacuum. The counter is that it offers more suction but the joy of a stick vacuum in my opinion is that is cordless. Additionally, the end is too thin widthwise yet too hard to fit under things like other stick vacuums, doesnt have bristles for some surfaces like carpet. So I wouldnt especially select this one but if youre ok with corded, go for it.

This Vacuum is supposed to be for pets. It barely holds anything and honestly, most of the time, only the filter side of the dirt holder (not sure what else to call it) fills up and then it stops sucking. Never even goes to the other side that is larger to fill with dirt/dog hair, etc. Trying to get the wand apart from the base or the handle portion from the want is near impossible. I have been a long time Shark buyer and user, but this vacuum is awful. Wasted so much money on this.

The vacuum cleaner works GREAT, however, after having it and using it for less than a month, the swivel part is broken and since my return window closed I am unable to return it. Amazon was willing to make an exception for me to return it and receive a refund MINUS a restocking fee of $52.00. They are not sure if there is a warranty for the vacuum cleaner but I am being inconvenienced by now having to box it up (I threw the box away already), having to bring it to a UPS store and to top that off get a $52.00 deduction. You may be better off ordering directly from Shark because you will be guaranteed any missing or broken parts. I will send attach a picture of the broken piece later.

This Shark HZ602 Ultralight Pet Pro with PowerFins and Self-Cleaning Brushroll is just what I had been looking for. I did not want a battery run vacuum and this is corded. Its lightweight and powerful and does a great job! The Handheld Vacuum part was perfect for the carpeted stairs! It is very easy to separate the Handheld from the Floor Mode and cleaning out the clear dirt cup is simple, too. It will get a lot of use in my house. It was time to replace my noisy old floor sweeper, and Im really happy with this super lightweight Shark model!!

Updated to add: Ive registered this item on the sharkninja website, and ive tried calling the warranty number but it instantly disconnects without picking up at all. DO NOT BUY THIS LEMON OF A PRODUCT! The unit has already died. We are a household with no kids or animals and we used it about every two weeks. We clean out the filter and dirt container every use. It would overheat quickly and stop working, then start up again and quit again. Now its just a dead shark. While in general the unit had kind of adequate suction, it would regularly drop any dirt and debris that didnt get sucked all the way up the long tube. It would also overheat quickly and stop working, then start up again. Like within five or six minutes of use. And its LOUD. On the plus side, the brushroll didnt get clogged with hair and it was easy to move around. Weve had great luck with other Shark products, but this one was a dud.

i was really surprised by how well this shark vacuum works. the only other experience Ive had with a stick vac was definitely not positive. i guess things have come along way since then. you can actually replace a cannister vacuum with this, something that shocked me. and the brushless design is a freaking miracle when you have pets or little girls whose hair is constantly ending up wrapped around the vacuum beater bar. Im thoroughly impressed with the fact that it also doubles as a handheld vacuum for cleaning out the snack crumbs from the aforementioned little girls. its also great for getting in those hard to reach crevices between the cushions on the couch. in fact the only issues i have are that the dust cannister is way too small and needs to be dumped frequently and the cord needs to be longer. but weighing these two tiny flaws against the outstanding features its a no brainer, buy this. its so light and easy to use that vacuuming is a breeze, now if only shark made a babysitter id be in heaven.

We have two dogs and four cats in our home. We are constantly vacuuming. The other vacuum we had just wasnt holding up, so we actually got a Shop-Vac, because of all the hair that just wasnt doing a great job either. On a whim, I got this, and we have not been disappointed! We literally vacuum our entire 1700 SQ ft house every single day. Hardwood, tile, area rugs, and all! Easy to clean, I absolutely love the lights so we can actually see the work we are doing, and the difference we are making. The maneuverability is incredible, especially in hard to reach areas. I definitely recommend this, and would certainly purchase this again!

I have a couple of inexpensive cordless stick vacuums that are meant more as a quick, convenient way to tidy up between more thorough cleaning. I have a corded canister vacuum that I use for the thorough cleaning, but its not great for my rugs, so I decided to give the Shark HZ602 a shot to replace one or more of my other vacuums. PROS: - Very powerful - Easy to maneuver - Easy to empty dust bin - Wide cleaning path - Headlights makes debris easier to see - Brush roll reduces hair wrap - Long cord CONS: - Not HEPA filtered - Hard to carry when storing/disassembled I like the Shark HZ602 a lot. It performs very well and has no problems with picking up finer debris like dust and hair or larger ones like pet food. It also does very well on my rugs, which was key for me. The wide cleaning path also means less passes to clean my rugs and hard floors. The headlight is great so you can see the dust and debris before you pass over it and how it looks afterwards. The self-cleaning brush roll does reduce hair wrap by a significant amount, but not completely. Cleaning it much, much easier than regular brush rolls. And while cordless designs are super convenient, the long cord on the HZ602 does make it easier to clean a wide area without having to plug and unplug that often. I have only two complaints. The biggest one is that the HZ602 is not sealed with a HEPA filter, so its not as ideal for allergy sufferers. Fortunately, I have very good air purifiers in my home, so I just run those while I vacuum and it seems to work out OK. My other complaint is that when Im done using the vacuum, its awkward to carry. I understand that these stick vacuum designs with powerful motors at the top are always going to be top heavy, so they wont be able to defy gravity and stay upright on their own. Being able to hook the motor onto the lower part of the vacuum allows it to be stored more easily and I like that. But some type of handle or grippier section of the body wouldve made it more convenient to carry when putting it away or taking it out for use. Im satisfied enough with the Shark HZ602 that I plan to get rid of my two cordless stick vacs. The HZ602 is powerful enough that I wont have to pull out my Miele canister vacuum as often, so thats definitely a win for me.
