> 3 dayI have a couple of inexpensive cordless stick vacuums that are meant more as a quick, convenient way to tidy up between more thorough cleaning. I have a corded canister vacuum that I use for the thorough cleaning, but its not great for my rugs, so I decided to give the Shark HZ602 a shot to replace one or more of my other vacuums. PROS: - Very powerful - Easy to maneuver - Easy to empty dust bin - Wide cleaning path - Headlights makes debris easier to see - Brush roll reduces hair wrap - Long cord CONS: - Not HEPA filtered - Hard to carry when storing/disassembled I like the Shark HZ602 a lot. It performs very well and has no problems with picking up finer debris like dust and hair or larger ones like pet food. It also does very well on my rugs, which was key for me. The wide cleaning path also means less passes to clean my rugs and hard floors. The headlight is great so you can see the dust and debris before you pass over it and how it looks afterwards. The self-cleaning brush roll does reduce hair wrap by a significant amount, but not completely. Cleaning it much, much easier than regular brush rolls. And while cordless designs are super convenient, the long cord on the HZ602 does make it easier to clean a wide area without having to plug and unplug that often. I have only two complaints. The biggest one is that the HZ602 is not sealed with a HEPA filter, so its not as ideal for allergy sufferers. Fortunately, I have very good air purifiers in my home, so I just run those while I vacuum and it seems to work out OK. My other complaint is that when Im done using the vacuum, its awkward to carry. I understand that these stick vacuum designs with powerful motors at the top are always going to be top heavy, so they wont be able to defy gravity and stay upright on their own. Being able to hook the motor onto the lower part of the vacuum allows it to be stored more easily and I like that. But some type of handle or grippier section of the body wouldve made it more convenient to carry when putting it away or taking it out for use. Im satisfied enough with the Shark HZ602 that I plan to get rid of my two cordless stick vacs. The HZ602 is powerful enough that I wont have to pull out my Miele canister vacuum as often, so thats definitely a win for me.

09-01-2025I bought this to use on my lower level floor which is luxury vinyl tile so I wouldnt have to lug my vacuum downstairs. It works well. Goes pretty far under the couch. Picks up the cat litter my cats track in from the basement. Its pretty easy to empty the cannister. The only cons, which I can live with, are that it doesnt stand alone, has to lean against something, and the detachable handheld part isnt that convenient to detach and use, I rarely use it. But overall I would recommend it if you are looking for a lightweight vacuum, much easier to use than a broom.

Greater than one weekThis vacuum is light but handles the pet hair easily. Highly recommend. We had a Dyson previously and the Shark is So much better!

Greater than one weekThis is great! Ive got an older model Shark vacuum that I love, but it was time to find something that would pick up the dog hair around my house and get to all of those awkward spots, like the stairs and under the furniture. This is perfect for that! Its not really meant to be your regular vacuum, more like a helping hand to do those quick touchups around the house. It is corded, which I actually appreciate because I was forever forgetting to charge my last stick vacuum, so it was never ready when I wanted to use it. This has a nice, long cord that lets me go around the room without issue. Its SUPER lightweight and simple to use, and works great on all of my hardwood and linoleum floors - our carpet too. I love the light at the front, which makes those fine dogs hairs completely obvious, and this sucks everything up without trouble. Actually, my only complaint is that the dust bin is so small - it does fill up easily. Thats really my only gripe though; this is lightweight and effective, and has such great functionality. I love it!

> 3 dayOkay I purchased this one because of value and it is a shark, was replacing my old shark because well it was old and no longer worked as well. This one is no good it does not pull debris from sides of walls. Over heats quickly, filter clogs quickly and when it heats up it shuts off, a good thing Im sure. Can only vaccum for a short time like around 5minutes depending on amount of debris. I would only recommend this for someone who has a small space like a small RV or camper, without any kind of hair. Th cup filter fills up faster than the actual debris container. I missed my window of return or I would not have this vaccum.

> 3 dayAbsolutely love this vacuum. Its small enough to get in between furniture and big enough to sweep a room. Love that I can vacuum rugs without holding them down. And I love that I can vacuum furniture and steps!

> 3 daySo easy to use. Love that I can get under furniture. Like most models, the attachments get knocked off easily…minor issue.

> 3 dayAmazon shipped us a USED Shark HZ602 Ultralight Pet Pro Corded Stick Vacuum!! The box was in good shape but the vacuum container was full of dirt, the vacuum head was covered with pet hair, human hair and dirt of all types! The vacuum head was totally beat to death; badly scared, scratched and nicked! The vacuum was shoved back in the box with the packaging shoved in with it and the cord unrolled and stuffed in! All really hard to believe. What was Amazon thinking?! And who uses and abuses a vacuum cleaner that badly?... then tries to return it?!!
