I came from a cordless to this and it is taking me a while to get use to the cord! Nothing big I will get use to it. Really give this one a try I am glad I did. I have 2 dogs that shed and so for the vacuum is handling it!

This was my second Shark corded stick. My first one was duo clean with front roller. Silly me thought this vacuum was also , it is not. Purchased the HZ602 June 2022 and it is basically shot now. Never completely picked up the dirt. Had to go back and forth over the dirt to get it. This past weekend it has lost 90% of suction power. This is after clean everything completely. It was only used downstairs for my hardwood floors , 7x10 rug and a runner. This vacuum never lived up to my first Shark and I am disappointed in the HZ602. You would think you would get more than 8 months out of a seldom used vacuum.

This is an upright, lightweight corded vacuum that is quick detach and is bagless. It has some weight to it, but while in use, balances very well in the hand. It does *not* stand well with everything attached. However there is a flat backing on the handle so it allows you to rest it against a wall. Assembly takes a few minutes. Not much to do, but there are instructions that help you if needed. Very precise/easy to use due to the moving head. You can get angles extremely well (with a flick of the wrist), and lays flat if needed. This allows getting corners without lifting it up, and being able to get under most furniture with no problem. Comes with: 1. Two heads -- main head and pet/upholstery 2. Few attachments for concentrated cleaning with the handheld You can use this as a floor vacuum (settings for hard floor and carpet) or as a handheld. Suction is very good, and the rollers help pull in dirt. This vacuum did better than my Oreck and $400 professional vacuum (but the $400 vacuum had much to be desired as far as performance). After vacuuming my floors , which I had been vacuuming regularly with the Oreck, there was a lot of extra dust/dirt that it picked up. The handheld suction is good -- but not the best Ive seen. That doesnt really matter though because it sucked everything it needed to. The canister that holds the dirt is very small, so expect to empty it many times when vacuuming. Overall -- love it. This is now my main vacuum, and cannot complain at all with anything. Works better than expected.

I have another Shark corded vacuum that I absolutely love, and my sister has a Shark cordless one that she absolutely loves. I also own a Shark robot vacuum that is fantastic. So when I was looking for something that I could use for quick clean ups in the mostly hardwood floors, with a few rugs area of my house I thought this Shark would be perfect for it. I’m not generally a fan of cordless ones since I forget to charge them. Plus there generally less powerful than there corded counterparts. So I was really excited about this corded Shark stick vac as I thought it was the best of both worlds, light weight but still powerful. But to be honest I haven’t been that impressed. First for a corded vacuum the suction power is not as amazing as I had hoped. It’s not that it has bad suction, it’s just about equal to a cordless stick vac. This vacuum also claims to have a self cleaning brush roll… but not that I have noticed! In fact I feel like I need to clean it a few times a week just to get the dog hair and people hair unwrapped around the brush. It’s not that this is a horrible vacuum, it’s not by any means. It’s just not what I was hoping for from Shark based off of other Sharks I own. It is lightweight, and it’s also very easy to maneuver. It’s an ok vacuum. It just doesn’t have the suction power I expected for a corded Shark vacuum. And it’s a pain to have to constantly clean the brush roll. Overall 3 stars for just ok.

I have a cat and a dog. They both have relatively short hair. This vacuum cleaner has no issues picking up their hair without wrapping the hair. The vacuum cleaner is fairly lightweight and easy to use and maneuver. Self-cleaning brush roll works pretty well as well. I am still in doubt though that this can be your main vacuum cleaner. This is why I am giving it four stars.

I like be everything about it. It swivels and turns, goes under dressers and beds. And has great suction. I first saw one my daughter has and I had the chance to use it.

I vacuumed with my old vacuum then with the Shark, the debris container filled up. Great suction, easy to use, easy to clean.

We have had a few stark vacuums over the years. Defiantly the smallest and strongest. Defiantly takes care of hair issue area easily. Only con, runs super hot. The unit gets hot enough that I feel down the road it will shut down due to over heating. Hasn’t yet.

I bought this to use on my lower level floor which is luxury vinyl tile so I wouldnt have to lug my vacuum downstairs. It works well. Goes pretty far under the couch. Picks up the cat litter my cats track in from the basement. Its pretty easy to empty the cannister. The only cons, which I can live with, are that it doesnt stand alone, has to lean against something, and the detachable handheld part isnt that convenient to detach and use, I rarely use it. But overall I would recommend it if you are looking for a lightweight vacuum, much easier to use than a broom.
