> 3 dayThis stick vacuum works well on stairs and floors, as well as in getting up the embedded dog hair on rugs. However, curiously the 2 attachments for the hand-held part of the vacuum do not create the angle needed to go over pet hair areas of floor or stairs. The attachment seems only to work ok on upholstery considering I have to hold the hand vac almost parallel to the furniture. At first I thought there might be a button to click in order to get the same kind of angle needed to use on a floor, but there isnt any way to adjust the attachment. Has anyone else felt this was a problem in how useful the pet hair attachment brush is for floor level areas?

> 3 dayI say that its good for its size, but honestly it outperforms many full-size vacuums. The first thing I noticed was that this somehow feels cheap. It feels like they might have skimped on a durable feeling vacuum in the name of being lightweight. We have a full-size shark that is built like a tank and weighs about as much as one. This one is just super light, a little plasticky, but thats where the cheap feeling ends. Performance-wise this thing is a monster. We have 2 cats and this thing has completely blown us away at how well it picks up the hair and dirt from our basement carpet. And, of course, we love that it does double duty and works well on floors, also. The no hair aspect isnt quite accurate and it doesnt self-clean quite as well as Shark would have you believe. However, it does work far better than a traditional brush roll vacuum, so were not really complaining on that one. Overall, a fantastic vacuum. Sure, its not the cheapest vacuum you can get, but weve used Shark for a long time and have always been happy with them. You cant go wrong with this one.

> 3 dayReview for: Shark HZ602 Ultralight Pet Pro with PowerFins and Self-Cleaning Brushroll, Comet Red, 10.19 in L x 8.84 in W x 45.49 in H Shark has very nice quality stick, regular, and robotic vacuums. Ive been working through quite a few of them. The best feature of this vac honestly is the powerfins vs. the standard roller. I have two standard roller attachments for my $180 stick vacuum and I spend all the time pulling hair off it. This one has vastly improved defense vai the powerfins against that. Otherwise, the major flaw is that its corded. So youre not getting the benefits of having a cordless stick vacuum. The counter is that it offers more suction but the joy of a stick vacuum in my opinion is that is cordless. Additionally, the end is too thin widthwise yet too hard to fit under things like other stick vacuums, doesnt have bristles for some surfaces like carpet. So I wouldnt especially select this one but if youre ok with corded, go for it.

> 3 dayWhile in general the unit has adequate suction, it heats up so quickly within five or six minutes of use. And its LOUD. Super loud, where I almost consider putting in ear plugs to use this vacuum, which I have never wanted to do while vacuuming before. The one good thing is that the brush roll doesnt get clogged with hair and it is easy to move around. Weve had great luck with other Shark products, but this one has not been the best so far in the month or so we have owned.

> 3 dayWhat I like most about this vacuum is also what I like least about it. It’s compact, lightweight and maneuverable. But the small size also means small canister. I have 5 cats, and live in a high dust area. When I was a kid growing up in the suburbs, my mom used to dust once a week, and it was barely necessary. I’ve lived most of my adult life in the city, and weekly dusting is necessary - there is always a fine layer of dust on the furniture. Which means there is also dust settling into the carpets. I have a full size Bissell canister vacuum, but I hate lugging it around. Doing a thorough vacuum with it means moving furniture around. It takes me an hour to do my living room and dining room, about 800 sq. ft. Because I hate vacuuming, I don’t do it nearly as often as I should, so I have to stop about 4 times to empty the canister. First time out with the Shark, I only got about 10 sq feet and had to empty the canister twice. So before attempting my whole apartment, I did a deep clean with the Bissell. I spent an hour and a half moving furniture and thoroughly cleaning. Now I use the Shark 2-3 times a week, and because it’s easier to move into small spaces, I don’t have to move the furniture, so I can be done in about 15-20 minutes. I like that the blades don’t cause tangles of hair and long fur. I should note that the furniture attachment does not have the blade system that the main vacuum does. It has bristles, so I did have to stop after using it to untangle fur. Two of my cats have long fur. I was initially irritated by the fact that the vacuum does not stay upright when fully assembled until I discovered the little hook on the front that you can hang the hand held portion onto which stabilizes the machine so it isn’t top heavy. Despite my initial misgivings about the size, I’m giving it 5 stars because once I got my groove, it works wonderfully!

> 3 dayI was looking for a light-weight vacuum to do the hallway upstairs to keep from lugging the heavy duty vacuum up-and-down the stairs. Even though it does the job and very well, I find it to be extremely top heavy and it blows hot air on me as I am using it. I havent read any other reviews about the air blowing, but after using it I can see that since the motor is pointed right at the upper body how else could it be. I think I would have been better off with the old fashioned, cheap vacuum. It has great suction and seems to work well, but I wouldnt recommend it for larger areas especially for summer vacuuming.

> 3 dayThe vacuum cleaner works GREAT, however, after having it and using it for less than a month, the swivel part is broken and since my return window closed I am unable to return it. Amazon was willing to make an exception for me to return it and receive a refund MINUS a restocking fee of $52.00. They are not sure if there is a warranty for the vacuum cleaner but I am being inconvenienced by now having to box it up (I threw the box away already), having to bring it to a UPS store and to top that off get a $52.00 deduction. You may be better off ordering directly from Shark because you will be guaranteed any missing or broken parts. I will send attach a picture of the broken piece later.

> 3 dayI came from a cordless to this and it is taking me a while to get use to the cord! Nothing big I will get use to it. Really give this one a try I am glad I did. I have 2 dogs that shed and so for the vacuum is handling it!

> 3 dayOn the first time vacuuming my whole house the brush stopped spinning. Found a Shark help line and called to see if they could assist with the issue, so I could finish cleaning my house. They informed me the nozzle needed to be replaced, and it was not a part that was under warranty. They put me on a brief hold and when she came back on the line, she informed they would do a one-time replacement like they were doing me a favor. No apologies...this is a one time deal. First of all, if your floor nozzle cannot make it around my house once, then your product is crap. The floor nozzle should be under warranty, it is a major component of a stick vacuum. It also sounds as if it doesnt hold up, I am out of luck and will have to replace it myself. I plan on replacing the whole vacuum and will never purchase a Shark product again. I wish I would have went with the Bissell.
