> 3 dayI have always been sceptical of cordless vacuums. But this one has great suction power and good battery life. Now everyone, even my 5 year old cleans up easy. Good buy. I wish it had more attachments, but I make do with what it came with.

> 3 dayIve had 3 Dyson stick vacuums and cannot live without it. Old one broke, I smashed the head of another and just bought a new one and another was an upgrade. However, with full suction on, they tend to die fast and I cannot finish vacuuming my main floor. So I purchased this Shark and I was surprised at how much I love it compared to the Dyson. Ill explain some pros/cons compared to the Dyson. Pros: -Charge lasts MUCH longer. -Light on end of vacuum (seeing things Id never pick up with the Dyson in dim areas) -Release button in middle for angled vacuuming under couch, chairs etc so you dont have to bend over! Very unique. -Price point (half the price of a top Dyson stick) -Suctions as well as Dyson if not better TBH. I vacuumed with this after my Dyson and it picked things up the Dyson didnt. -Quieter -Head maneuvers similar to Dyson -Similar canister emptying -Stands up right so no lifting off base and has rubber guards on back so doesnt damage walls if sits near one. Bends inhale for easy storage too. -Has two types of suction- hard floor and carpet. As well as boost button. Cons: -Noticeably heavier but only by a few pounds. My arm hurts after awhile unlike the Dyson. Still lighter than most vacuums. -Larger overall. -Need to plug in but easy enough with simple round plug on top where Dyson has easy charging station -Have to hold the boost suction button like the old Dyson. -Need to store on the floor so takes up some space. Overall, its a great alternative and I had to buy it because my Dyson would not complete the task. So if you do not have a Dyson stick, this is probably the next best thing and you wont regret it.

> 3 dayPro: Battery life is long enough to vac 14ft X 70ft (980 square feet) moble home. It takes up little space to store in a closet. I vacuum every few weeks and owed vac for 6 months. The inner filter looks brand new! The prep filters absorbs just about everything. I keep my dog trimmed. The vac picks up all trimmed hair. (Sorry I cant evaluate long matted pet hair due to shedding in carpets and sofas.) The power burst feature is a smart idea. It will pick small debris that regular setting missses. You pull a trigger to increase and decrease suction as needed. Battery can be detached and charged separately from unit. You can purchase extra batteries and have them changed in advance of use. It comes with the normal frequently used attachments. You can purchase other attachments separately from shark. Lights do help in darker spaces. The canister is larger than most stick vacs, but I do have to empty during a single use. I didnt buy this as a supplemental vac to an upright. I bought this instead of an upright. Con: The hardwood floor feature is useless. It doesnt pick up hardly anything. Use the carpet setting on hardwood and you will be fine. Paying $50 more to get 10 mins of extra run time is stupid. Buy and extra battery for $63. The attachments and stick are D shapped. If you want more attachments, you are basically forced to buy from shark due to shape. There is less suction than a normal upright, but to be fair it is good enough.

Greater than one weekWeve had this for a few months now and were very happy with our purchase of this vacuum. We purchased it to be our downstairs (hardwood mostly) vacuum since we have pets and need to vacuum that area very regularly. With a full charge it does the entire downstairs and the canister is big so I only need to dump it once, twice max if its shedding season. I also use it on our sofa and it does a great job, but its not great for baseboards, a duster works better and then we vacuum after. Overall were quite happy and hope it keeps working this well for many years to come.

> 3 dayWe bought this vacuum to replace a eufy HomeVac Duo 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum with the intent for using it in a similar manner - to handle quick vacuum jobs around the house - primarily on hardwood. To our surprise the Shark not only performs very well on the hardwood, as expected, but is powerful enough to handle our carpets, which are rather thick and challenging. Even the LED light on the front is a nice added touch and helped us see and pick up more dust and dirt. The Shark is simple overall - with a sleek design that is minimal, which makes storing it very easy - we are easily able to store this between our washer and dryer in our bathroom, nice and tucked away, but very accessible in a moments notice. Check out the first picture - the motor comes off and hooks to the bottom of the stick/vacuum head to self balance and makes for compact storage. We have a small dog and 2 women in our house - so removing hair from vacuum cleaner heads has become something we are used to having to do every couple months. I was amazed the Shark has NO HAIR tangled in the vacuum head after 40 minutes of vacuuming, which would normally result in a tangled hair mess with the eufy. See the 2nd picture - this shows you what the vacuum head looks like after 40 minutes of vacuuming - not one hair! The attachments that come with the Shark are very convenient and easy to snap on and off - making it easy to reach tight spaces, vacuum couches, etc. In addition the ability to attach the vacuum head directly to the motor allows us to vacuum the stairs with ease. The vacuum head is the perfect width for the stairs and it made a once tedious and annoying job easy. The 3rd picture shows the 2 setting the Shark has; one for bare floors and then ramped up power and a spinning vacuum head for carpet. You cannot go wrong for the price - especially if you find yourself dealing with a vacuum hair always snarled in hair. You will be impressed by the power, ease of use, and overall convenience of the Shark. The only thing you may be wanting bit more of it battery life - as you find yourself getting carried away with the ease of use. Happy vacuuming!

> 3 dayIt’s not a Dyson and I bought it due to the reviews and I know it’s not a Dyson. Compared to our Dysons which are light and have powerful suction and the Dyson batteries keep dying and needing replacement, the Shark is bulky and not as powerful. Then again it’s not a Dyson.

06-01-2025I used this vacuum about 20 times and then went to get it out from the cabinet that I store it in and it wouldnt unfold. now the selling point for me with this vacuum is that it stores in a small under sink cabinet. the other selling point would be for the vacuum to vacuum. but with the vertex stick not unfolding, the vacuum is useless. I couldnt find the part on their website to order so I called and they wanted too much for it so I just scrapped it. When it worked, it was amazing but, as with most shark products ive purchased, if a small part of it goes bad, its better to just find a replacement than to try to repair it. Going back to my Kirby

> 3 dayI have used this stick vac every day since receiving it and I really, really like it. Very good value for the money. The functionality where you can break the stick in two to vacuum under furniture is so simple to use and a complete revelation. Where have you been all my life?! I use this feature all the time and absolutely love it. I also like the exceptional maneuverability of the vacuum head and the very bright LED headlights, features I didnt even know I wanted but also love. It will literally move around in a circle from a static position. You can use the break in half feature to store it upright but bent over itself so its not necessary to lean it up against a wall. It does not come with a dock or any kind of storage mounting system. Another of the really nice things is that the top part breaks off to become a hand vac but, not only that, all the accessory tools can plug into the hand vac, including the power head, which is a premium feature I was looking for. This is very handy for vacuuming the couch or a bed and seems to be a unique feature as I didnt find it elsewhere. On the down side, I would say that the unit is a bit top heavy, which gives me the feeling that it could give you tennis elbow pretty fast if you had a second battery to extend the time you can use it. I am happy with the battery life. On the fastest non-turbo speed it cleans a combo of hard and carpet surfaces for around 20 minutes. This unit is not for deep cleaning but has enough suction to pick up Cheerios and dog kibbles as well as all the dust bunnies and pet hair on your solid surface floors. It gets my long hairs up off of the carpet, as well. It is IDEAL for day to day cleaning that keeps your house looking nice and makes big cleaning days far less work. Bravo, Shark!

> 3 dayI purchased the Shark IZ462H Vertex Ultra Lightweight Cordless Stick Vacuum about 2 weeks ago. I did a lot of research on cordless vacuums and I chose the Shark because of its generally good reviews, and an in-depth review by an evaluator who used the vacuum for multiple days who gave it high marks. I am very pleased with the vacuum because it’s does what I need but there are limitations (this won’t replace my Dyson Animal, but I hope to use that far less). For me, my primary interest is to use the Shark daily on one floor of the house to tidy up the loose hair from our five short hair dogs. It does this wonderfully. Easy to use, light, no cord, gets under furniture, not at all bulky like the Dyson, runs for at least 30 minutes using the normal setting, and does an excellent job in capturing the hair and other dirt particles. We have no carpet in the house except for runners. The vacuum does well on the carpet as well but the vacuum head setting for carpet uses more power (there are two settings; one for hard floors and one for carpet). I am not sure I would rely on the Shark if I had a lot of carpet because I suspect the useful battery time would diminish. However, one could buy another battery (they change out quickly) to make the vacuum more useful. The vacuum also has attachments which are useful but somewhat limited in that the brush attachment doesn’t have a 360 adjustment like other vacuums. The vacuum is easy to empty but it doesn’t hold a tremendous amount of dirt but it is adequate. I will take the ease of handling and lighter weight over a larger dirt capacity of a heavier and bulkier vacuum. One feature I really appreciate with this Shark is the ability to release a pivot hinge in the middle of the vacuum main tube in order to get under furniture easily. This is a super feature and works extremely well. This alone is almost worth the price of the vacuum. The vacuum also has a boost setting that increases the amount of vacuum provided but I haven’t used it much except to try it to see what it provides. One last point, a major and well respected independent non-profit product review organization would not make any recommendations for cordless vacuums due to their limitations and uncertain reliability. The Shark comes with a five year limited guarantee and I purchased an additional guarantee from Amazon to supplement the manufacturers guarantee. So, hopefully[p] I am covered if the Shark dies a premature death. In summary I give the Shark 5 stars because it meets my need and I think it does exactly what it is designed to do at a reasonable price.

> 3 dayJust moved into a new house & it was time to replace my ailing Wind Tunnel. Ive been reading tons of reviews, including Wirecutter & Consumer Reports, trying to decide which upright or cordless to go with. I was will to spend the money on a Dyson if thats what it took to stay ahead of the fur and kitty litter from my two cats. Im not a clean freak, but moving furniture out of my old house (and having dark laminate floors with a lot more natural sunlight in my new house) made it apparent that we were failing to stay on top of the pet hair. After all my research, this seemed like my best option. I crossed my fingers that this was a good choice because the only Shark I had was a hand held model & I wasnt impressed. Also, Wirecutter wasnt a fan of cordless vacuums, but I really wanted that option & there are ALWAYS a few bad consumer reviews -- so hard to know what to believe. Admittedly, Ive only had it for a week, but I LOVE IT!! It does a great job on both carpets and bare floor and also vacuums rugs without sucking the edges into the vacuum. I couldnt believe how much cat hair it picked up (or should I say was missed with my Swiffer) on all surfaces. It also did a better job on stray pieces of kitty litter -- better than my B&D Dustbuster. The light also makes it easier to see where you missed. Its lightweight (but have to get use to a cordless being top heavy) and I love that the power switch stays on (all Dyson cordless models have a trigger that has to be squeezed the entire time youre using it -- no thanks) and very easily switches from carpet to bare floor mode at the power switch. The run time is great and I love that it can get underneath furniture that none of my uprights could. Also, emptying the container is super easy (I will admit that if theres a lot of cat hair, I have to dig some of it out with my hand, but its not difficult, and so what if I have to wash my hands afterwards). Im SO GLAD I got this vacuum and would highly recommend it.
