> 3 dayIve had this Shark vac for 3 months now, and each time Ive used it, Ive told myself that I have to write a review! This cordless vac sucks up everything with ease!! My home has hardwood floors, ceramic tiles and plush carpet - and this vac seamlessly handles each flooring perfectly. Ive tried several other cordless vacs and they did not suction nor clean as thoroughly and as smoothly as this Shark Vac. This vac is not as light-weight as others, but thats because this motor works and does the job! The head pivots with ease and lets me get under - and around - my furniture. Its easy to clean and store. ITS THEEE BEST CORDLESS VAC!!

> 3 dayLove the cordless feature and the ability to have the upright tube bend to get under couches/beds. I am very impressed how much dirt it pulls out of carpets. Rating could have been higher but have not had it very long.

> 3 dayWould not purchase this product again. I loved it when I first tried it but I have only used it about 10 times and twice have had to declog it. Too narrow of a space between the head and the stick. Dog hair was mostly the culprit.

> 3 dayI tried the dyson v15 detect before this product and I loved it. It is not a Dyson for sure but these days I couldn’t rationalize paying for the $800 vacuum so I sent it back and started looking for one that was the closest to this dyson. This one is it. Although it is much more bulky and doesn’t vacuum under the fridge, stove etc it seems the suction is pretty similar and has other features that for me are better like folding to store and extension for under beds. I did not want to use the storage for the dyson since it involved placing screws in my wall, new home equals a hell na for me. Emptying the canister is similar as well, both do not hold large amounts but that doesn’t bother me to empty a canister. Overall, with half the price of the Dyson and other features I mentioned this is definitely the better buy.

> 3 daySaw a test including this Shark Vertex on the Project Farm youtube channel under the best cordless vacuum video (great channel for product tests) and liked it best for our needs (hardwood, some carpet, lots of stairs). I love how modular it is. Im in awe in how little hair ends up in the roller. Have only had one clog to get out of it in about 4 months of use (compared to our old stick vac). Would purchase again for sure!

> 3 dayI wanted to get a cordless vacuum for my husband who has Rheumatoid Arthritis and wants to help but struggles with the large vacuum. I was lucky enough to score a Prime Day deal on this so I didnt feel bad about investing in it. I do feel that it is worth full price though. This is pretty light and very easy to use. I can vacuum the kitchen, bathroom, front door area, laundry room and area rugs ( my entire downstairs) in about 5 to 10 minutes tops and I have a large house. The first time I ran it across the carpet it lifted so much junk out that my large vacuum just wasnt picking up. This is SO easy to use on our stairs. It is light enough to carry up and down the stairs with no struggle too. The extra battery is so helpful. Id hate to run out of juice mid cleaning. My only complaint is that you have to fold it up to store it every time you stop using it. I would rather leave it upright but its top heavy. Still that is a minor inconvenience really.

> 3 dayI bought this after a lot of research and consideration of other brands. I couldnt justify 800 bucks for a Dyson, but I also know that a vacuum that costs 150 bucks doesnt last. I needed something that is versatile and can quickly switch from laminate to carpet without a lot of fuss. I wanted something cordless so I could go through the whole house quickly without having to switch outlets or worry about keeping the cord out of the way of my path. The ability to clean up hair was an absolute imperative as I have a Husky and a Corgi that are constantly shedding. Cleaning the hair off of every surface has become a nightmare chore that is impossible to stay on top of. Now, let me tell you, that my house is in no way filthy, but after using this vacuum on my rug, that was just vacuumed with my old vacuum cleaner a couple of days ago, it sure felt like I was living in squalor before. This stick vac pulled hair and dirt from the carpet that I thought was clean! I was ASTOUNDED by how much dirt and hair that was still there. This product easily converts to make vacuuming stairs and those hard to reach areas a simple task. The included attachments are very good at getting the hair and dust from the couch cushions and it is very compact and takes up very little storage space. I have read other reviews that it builds up a rather unpleasant static shock after a few minutes of use. I have not experienced any sort of shock or static build up. The only reason that I didnt give this product 5 stars is because there isnt any storage for the attachments, and with 2 kids, I know that they are going to get lost easily. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants the convenience of a powerful cordless vacuum, without the high cost of a Dyson.

> 3 dayMy dog is a papillion. Vacuum worked very well until my dog hairs tightened around the smallest wheels. The vacuum no longer slides easily across my rugs due to the inability to completely remove tightened hairs. The wheels are extremely tiny and require tweezers to remove the dog hairs. I would have given the vacuum a higher rating but I need to remove the dog hairs every time I vacuum. If a customer representative would like to reach out with a solution please contact me.

> 3 dayWe have a Dyson wireless vacuum that I absolutely love. It’s maybe the second or third iteration of the portable vacuum so it’s an older model. When we bought it Dyson was the only company that made this style vacuum so I decided to splurge and buy it! I decided to give Shark a try now that this style is mainstream because this got good reviews and is a lot cheaper. Dyson has much better suction and just does a better job at picking everything up in one pass. However, the Shark is much more consistent. Our Dyson attachment would always clog or break and stop running in mins of use and there was always some work that would need to be done to get it back up and running. I don’t have this issue with the Shark vacuum. There’s also some handy features - I like that the main tube bends to get under couches. I also like the lights on the main attachment. The overall runtime is better than my older Dyson but maybe new iterations are better at this. I only got about 20-30 mins and now I get about an hour. I will update if anything major changes my opinion but overall, a nice vacuum. Not as powerful as Dyson but there are other factors that make this a worthwhile choice.
