Siglent Technologies SDS1202X-E 200 mhz Digital Oscilloscope 2 Channels, Grey

Im updating my review. I originally gave this scope two stars but that was not fair. Also, my understanding of the operation of the measurement feature (voltage) was not correct. So first, I have to say that the stability of the trace gets much better after about a 15 minute warm up (any offset issue goes away completely).

I have used Oscilloscope’s fluently for over 50 years. I am an Electronic Engineer who has worked in circuit design PLC programming and NC/CNC Machine Tool Repair and modification. This Siglent SDS 1202X-E is an impressive piece of equipment, especially considering the price point. The screen presentation is clear with the 2 channels displayed in different colors. The presentation mode is very customizable to obtain the desired result. Time Base, Vertical Amplitude and Position are easily adjusted. There are functions that I have not even explored yet, But I will.

This is a phenomenal scope for the price. Would buy it again

My Owon XDS3102 100MHz scope bit the dust with a bad power supply and needed a replacement. Enter the Siglent SDS1202X-e. This is a great o-scope for the price. 200MHz Bandwidth and even ore sensitive than my Owon was. I have yet to play with all the math features and remote LAN/USB hookup but so far have been very pleased with the performance with basic signals. And the cost was 1/3rd of what I paid for my Owon 5 years ago which I paid extra for features like serial decode and LAN that is included with the Siglent.

I like having each key having accessing to their own help information.

This is a very nice scope. It is the BB scope and works perfectly. Had an older scope and am impressed how much nicer this one is for less money.

A good feature set and respectable accuracy for a low-cost scope. It can even be pushed into useas a rudimentary spectrum analyzer.

Needs detailed instruction manual showing how to use all of its functions and capability. Have to use YouTube videos to learn how to use the oscilloscope.

Excellent scope. Very versatile for the price. Very inexpensive for the features provided.
