Ease of use

This is my first oscilloscope, Im using it for my hobby, and to teach myself more about electronics.

Almost bought a Rigol but I did my research and went with Siglent. Chinese yes but they have a US Office which I contacted for Tech Support questions. They were quite impressive!

I like everything about this scope! Just need to add an isolation transformer and a differential probe for complete safety when probing devices.

Nice 8 display (non touch) the super phosphor is a bit misleading. At $ 400, better than most digital scopes.

I have used this scope for a year and it has made a huge improvement over my old analog scope. Because I can pause the stream I can measure the capacitance of capacitors and the inductance of inductors.

This scope has a great performance, I like how feel the response to each button and the swift screen refresh.

I have used Oscilloscope’s fluently for over 50 years. I am an Electronic Engineer who has worked in circuit design PLC programming and NC/CNC Machine Tool Repair and modification. This Siglent SDS 1202X-E is an impressive piece of equipment, especially considering the price point. The screen presentation is clear with the 2 channels displayed in different colors. The presentation mode is very customizable to obtain the desired result. Time Base, Vertical Amplitude and Position are easily adjusted. There are functions that I have not even explored yet, But I will.
