I bought this product in the past and left a bad review. I rarely do that so that gives you an idea how frustrated I was. However, after posting the bad review I was contacted by the company. I did not have a bad experience with their communication like some people have reported. I was polite with them and they were polite with me. It was simply important to them that their product does well. I can respect that. They offered several solutions and the one I agreed to was a do over to give them another chance. They claimed to have redesigned the electronics and addressed the things in my negative review. I received the replacement outlets free. Even though they looked the same, they worked very differently. I was able to join one to my existing network without any adjustments or problems. It worked just like it was supposed to and automatically joined with Alexa from their Cloud Intelligence app. I do wish all these smart appliance makers would just integrate with one id and password but right now that part is unavoidable. So, in summary, you do need a 2.4 gigahertz wireless network for these just like you do for all the lower priced smart appliances. It works with Alexa just fine and setup is a breeze. The company will stand behind their product if you have a problem and the lady I dealt with was excellent at email communication in english. I would recomment this cost effective solution.

The manual said to install an app, and the box said another. You need to follow the manual. After that pretty easy to integrate with Alexa

I like they are small, but they didnt work after the power went out. The 2.4 internet connection, for me, didnt work. My brother got me hooked up, but I couldnt re hook it up after we lost power. Its probably worth it for me to pay more, with the people friendly option.

Great product, easy install. Very useful and allows you to plug in 3 pin plugs to your outlets (AKA grounded plugs) into your outlets. The only problem with this product is that you have to set the scheduled on & off times in military hours. The majority of the world doesn’t go off military hours so it’s annoying. To get it right you have to google for a military time to standard time picture/diagram to program it correctly. Secondly when the app logs you out, which is often, you have to log in again and acknowledge the terms of use each, and every time, it’s very unnecessary a little bothersome, but it’s not the end of the world. Other than that you’ll love this product. It’s very useful, and you can control it when you are away from home. It’s also more compact than the old standard light timers which require pins, and buttons, and sometimes you hit those buttons when you’re cleaning which then messes everything up. Moreover if you have multiple old timers they all turn on at different times even if you try to match them perfectly. BUT!!! With these “NEW” digital Bluetooth wifi timers you can turn everything on at the same time like Christmas or decorative lighting. Or you also have the option of having lamps, or anything else turn on at different times. You have better control with these new timers. Definitely a win, and I love the product. Please change the military time format.

Sorry easy to set up! The one thing the instructions dont mention is that when you first plug it in you have to hold the button on the side for 5 seconds until the led starts to blink. That puts you in discover mode so the app can find it and set it up. As easy as pairing a Bluetooth device. From there you can manually turn things on/off, put them on a schedule, or set up rules. Great for scheduling Christmas lights, making the house look lived in when you are on vacation, or just turning stuff on without getting out of your comfy chair!

I setup two of the four devices so far, and performed a quick test of countdown & timer features, manual on/off with the physical switch and the app. I used my Google account to register my logon with the Cloud Intelligence app (impossible to mess up) and then the Alexa skill setup & account linking was easy too. The reason for only 4 of 5 stars is that I ran into an issue that was NOT documented within the instructions: Devices could not connect to my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi while using WPA2 for the security setting. After being unable to find a solution, I went to my router portal and started tooling around... Eventually finding that normal (older) WPA security setting allows these devices to connect successfully.

These were so easy to install. It took probably five minutes to set up all four of them for my Christmas lights around my house. I love that you can set up a schedule for when do you want them to turn on and off. But I’m not super thrilled about the military time on the app but I’ll get over it lol.

Im using these to control the light and heat panels to my chicken house. I let them out in the day even in freezing weather so theres no sense in heating an open coop. So the heat comes on only when needed. Lights as well go off after a while so they can rest in winter without constant light. It also comes on at the same time signaling bedtime and they usually return to the coop voluntarily. I also can control it via the app remotely if I feel its super cold I cant turn the heat on from the house to allow them a warmer space to wait out the rain or what have you. I will surely find other uses as well, perhaps for pond features, turning them off at night to conserve energy, etc. Or in place of dusk to dawn feature with shed lighting that needs plugging in. Very impressed with the ease of the app set up and responsiveness of the devices. You can rename them to keep them straight. Not sure the hack ability but I figure hackers messing by with my chickens lights is the least of my concerns. Edit 8/6/22: removing a star only because these things are NOT every efficient. Were off grid so we were using these to turn lights on and off on a schedule for fowl and fans for hen houses, they burn too much energy just trying to stay connected to the WiFi. They are great for common houses attached to a grid that can just burn electricity all day and night, but they drain out batteries even when nothing is in use because the plug itself uses a electricity. A little disappointing but thats tech for you. I need something more basic that can run with little electrical use that wont drain my batteries before weve had a chance to use them for their intended purpose.
