> 3 dayI have tried numerous different ways to get it to connect to Alexa and it wont recognize it. The instructions to connect it was for a completely different app. And it didnt integrate. Alexa recommend one app and the instructions recommended another. Neither one integrated with the Alexa app.

> 3 dayWe bought a set of these for home automation while were away camping. Lights come on and off just like were home all evening. And we can vary the times on the fly right from the campground. When home I set them up so a lamp comes on automatically at my usual wake up time, early... Theyre not difficult to set up, but make sure you plug them in one at a time, using the app to set each one up as it finds them. Dont forget to name them based on where they are going to be located, especially if using Alexa to control them. Ive used them for 4 months and theyve worked flawlessly. Reviewing since I came on to buy another 4 pack.

16-12-2024I bought the 4-pack of the Smart Plug ESICOO, and was able to connect it to the Cloud Intelligence app following the instructions provided. Each plug needs to be set up individually. I labeled each plug with a number (1,2,3,4) and then changed the name of each plug in the app (One, Two, Three, Four) so that I could then use the Alexa skill more easily (ie, Alexa, turn off One). The instructions also provided simple steps to set up the Alexa Skill (warning, do not use the Smart Life Alexa skill as I inadvertently did following the instructions that Amazon provided--read the provided instructions!)

> 3 dayTHIS IS HOW YOU PAIR WITH ALEXA: You have to download the Cloud Intelligence app and you must have the Alexa app. Put the device in pairing mode by holding the button for 5 seconds until it starts blinking. Using the Cloud Intelligence app, select add a device or use the auto find feature. You must have a 2.4g wifi signal for it to pair and you must input your wifi password. You must also allow permissions for Bluetooth and precise location while using the app. Once the device is found, edit the device and rename it whatever you want. Then Open the Alexa app. You must be logged into BOTH accounts. Using the Cloud Intelligence app, go to the profile tab, select More Services and youll see amazon alexa and google assistant. Select amazon alexa, select Bind Account and your phone will open your Alexa app and it will attempt to link the two apps/accounts together. This opens a web page and will either be successful or not. Your Alexa app will get a notification saying its been paired, and your alexa may even audibly tell you that it found new devices, with the names you gave the devices if you edited the names in the Cloud Intelligence app. TEST TO SEE IF WORKING AND THEN DELETE THIS INVASE DATA STEALING APP. It is granted permissions to your search history, photo library, exact location, all your bluetooth and wifi info. Plugs work great but the amount of info it requires to install is downright unacceptable

> 3 dayI dont like how the plugs keep losing the internet connection then I have to press button on side of plug to reconnect. Most of the time this doesnt work. One plug didnt work at all and I asked for a replacement. Instead they sent me an entire box of plugs, 4. Even after I returned the 1 defective plug, I got charged for the replacement plugs. I didnt ask for 4 plugs to replace 1 plug. Not very happy with how this was handled. If you can keep the internet connection with the plugs they do work with Alexa.

Greater than one weekI’m using this to turn on/off a grow light in my indoor garden. Scheduling is pretty easy as is setup. Make sure whatever device you’re using to set this up (phone, tablet…) is already on a 2.4ghz network. I was hoping it would work with another smart app I was currently using but no such luck… Needs another app. I wish these manufacturers would come up with 1-2 apps for these smart devices. Other than that, setup took about 2 mins. Super easy and works well. -1 star due to having to use another app.

> 3 dayThese smart plugs are really for someone who purchase smart devices for the first time. These power plugs have a really attractive price. For someone who already have some smart devices, we are looking for devices that will be compatible with our existing devices and systems, for easy access and programming. It is not possible to use a WiFi motion sensor installed in Tuya/Smart Life to control and WiFi switch installed under Cloud Intelligence. It is also a much worse headache to find out if my living room light and my kitchen fan are in Smart Life or in Cloud Intelligence -- of course, if you have only two devices, this is not the problem. If you have 20 WiFi devices ... you will not be happy to play this seeking game 20 times a day. It will not take a long time for someone to start putting everything under a same app, or existing app... I was very happy to purchase these plugs with the great price, but soon I am so disappointed to find out that these ESICOO plugs are not the same, they cannot be installed to Smart Life, where all of my WiFi devices are installed, motion sensors, switches, plugs, and mini plugs. So that these ESICOO plugs cannot interact with other existing wifi devices locally. To integrate with my existing devices, I will have to use Echo, involving additional cloud exposure. In addition, these plugs cannot be installed with Tasmota firmware over the air either by EZ mode or AP mode. It is very hard to open one up and wire connect directly risking to stab one thumb with a screw driver and burn another with a soldering iron. These plugs are also described as compatible with Vera. But this is a false statement. The true is, they CANNOT be installed in VeraLite or VeraEdge. There is no Vera plug-in or App for them. I give three stars because these plugs turn on- and off and have WiFi. Someone may be able to use them. But, to myself, these plugs are one star, because if I use them, I have to trash all my existing smart devices!

> 3 dayApparently I misread and didn’t understand that these do not work with a 5G network. My bad. But they work fine on less that 5 g according to my IT installation guy.

> 3 dayThese were so easy to install. It took probably five minutes to set up all four of them for my Christmas lights around my house. I love that you can set up a schedule for when do you want them to turn on and off. But I’m not super thrilled about the military time on the app but I’ll get over it lol.
