Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Premium Noise Canceling Overhead Headphones with Mic for Phone-Call and Alexa Voice Control, Black WH1000XM4

They tried to possibly scam me by buying a new cover for these headphones, trying to make me think they were the correct pair. I take them out of the nice looking box, check the build.

Right out of the box and I consider these expensive headphones a joke.

Pros - ANC, Sound, Touch Controls.

The best hearing aids, quality, price, very comfortable comfort, high sound quality and cancellation

Let me start of by saying these are most likely the best sounding ANC headphones out there. They also get F#$?! LOUD like seriously. They wil ruin your hearing if youre not careful especially if you turn of volume limiter in devoloper options. I have had a lot of headohones but I have only tried the bose 700 in the store and they sounded overly warm and muddy with no bass. I havent tried the airpods max but Im sure they arent worth the price especially since i have Android. Anyway these are very clear, crispy, and spacious. They have good instrument separation and amazing features. However, the bass isnt super punchy/vibrating on some songs (I had nuraphones before) but it is still very deep and clear. They were a little uncomfortable at first but it didnt last long. The noise cancelling is damn near perfect. Even hard to hear voices sometimes and they optimize based off of many factors. Also, I havent had any problems with touch controls. Now for the only bad thing. The microphones are pretty bad. People on the other end can hear me but only when it is quiet. I might end up trying to exchange them. I have also contacted Sony.

This is a light weight review .. I just wanted to comment on my experiences. I most often use them for Teams Meetings where I find the noise cancelling to work quite well. In particular in post Hurricane Ian conditions with 9.9 KW Generator operating nearby as well as my window mounted Air Conditioner the noise reduction worked quite well for audio and voice pickup. No please understand the microphone output was effected by all the background noise, but we got the job done!

Comfortable

I reviewed these headphones before. I had given them a one star review. Now I am rating them 5 stars. Reason being, before I thought the headphones were disconnecting and reconnecting on its own. Actually, I found out that the particular video that I was watching on youtube had no audio in certain clips. I mean no audio signal at all. These headphones detected that and let me know with a beep. When the audio track was detected again everything was normal. I returned these headphones and bought the xm3 headphones. But I wish I had done more troubleshooting.

Excellent product

I cant hear myself during calls, which makes these headphones pointless for the #1 reason I bought them. They are excellent for noise cancellation, audio quality, and syncing up multiple devices. But, do NOT get these for phone calls, Zoom calls, or any other reason where you need to hear yourself. The ambient noise settings try to overcome this limitation, but its terrible.
