This was purchased for extensive spring cleaning my friend Lucy was doing. She’s the one that actually test drove the vacuum cleaner right out of the box. Her text regarding its performance, says it all, so there was no need for me to test it before deciding it deserved a 5 star rating. This was Lucy’s text the day it was delivered (see pics): “This is what I pulled out of the mattress. Now I want to vacuum my own mattress! I need this kick-ass machine in my life!” Lucy loved it so much she threatened to steal mine (jokingly), so I had to buy her, her own “kick ass“ machine as one of the many thank you’s to come. That should tell you how impressed I am with the Tineco A11 Hero vacuum cleaner.

Very impressed with this little guy. Enough battery to do my entire home (mostly hardwood) on level-2 power, with enough left to do 3 carpeted rooms on level-3 power. It gets a lot of pet hair out of carpet, far more than I expected it to - Ive tried several other ($100-range) battery vacs, and all of them have been weak garbage. Dyson rides on their name-brand, but I have zero qualms about purchasing this instead. Battery life has exceeded my expectations - I considered buying the 2-battery-pack version, but Im glad I didnt, as Ive never managed to go through an entire battery before finishing the house. I wouldnt necessarily use it as my only/primary vacuum - I keep a better brand plug-in model for heavier-duty cleaning. But for a quick run-through daily cleanup, this does a very respectable job on every surface. It even has decent suction on the extreme front and sides of the head, so getting up close to a wall doesnt leave a thin line of dust there; itll grab everything. The only surfaces it has trouble on are thick-pile/outdoor type carpet (like doormats with raised ridges), as it doesnt have *quite* enough suction to pull things out of the indents in those - it does rely somewhat on the roller/beater bar to grab things, and if the dirt is below the roller, its somewhat less effective. Again though, its still leagues beyond any $100-range portable vac, and Id absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a Dyson but doesnt want to spend Dyson prices.

I am the queen of using many vacuums. I have a hard time maneuvering through my long ranch house and going from carpet to hardwood, room to room, up and down 6 cat trees and in and around 5 cat beds. If takes me an hour or more to do the whole house and I’m exhausted afterwards. I have a commercial upright vacuum that does a good job but the cord isn’t long enough and the hose attachment is so awkward to use. I have a canister vacuum that does a good job but the hose keeps coming out and it’s difficult for me TL lug around a canister. I have a handheld vacuum for quick pickups but it doesn’t hold a lot. I bought this upright cordless vacuum and I’m in love. I do the whole house on one charge. It’s lightweight and I have no cord to deal with. It has great suction on the high setting. My only issue with it is I have to clean it after every use. The attachments work great but sometimes I like to use without an attachment to get along the walls. I have a cat who chews on cardboard boxes and sometime the pieces of cardboard don’t fit up the attachment. Well this vacuum doesn’t suck very well without an attachment which is odd. I can’t figure out why. I think because it has a notch for an attachment at the end of the tube that I can’t get close to the wall. I’m able to use the thin attachment most of the time for the walls but occasionally I have to pick up a piece here and there. Overall I think this vacuum is great.

I bought this vacuum a year ago. It wasn’t what I was expecting when I bought. I was looking for a vacuum that is good for pet hair and really wanted a cordless vacuum. I wasn’t a big fan when I first got it but gave it a try. I have dogs and the filters smell after a few uses. I feel like I’m constantly washing them. The battery only lasts for about 1 pass through the house and turns off frequently during this. I have hard wood floors and loved the different attachment for it. However debris is always falling out back onto the floor! And clumps of hair will stay on some of the rugs. I would’ve put the money for this towards a Dyson!

I like the light weight of this vacuum... but beware, you must hang it from the wall in order to charge the device. I did not count on that detail. Also, there are a bunch of filters, some of which need very regular cleaning. I will have to keep the handbook near for at least the first month of use to remind myself of all the details.

I did a lot of searching for stick vacuums and read a lot of reviews. This one came up several times as an affordable alternative to a dyson. After putting it together and charging it, I took it for a spin. I have hardwood floors through out with a few area rugs. It picks up every bit of dirt and misc items on my floors no problem and cleaned the rugs with ease. The proof is in the container, so much dirt and hair pulled up. It is light weight and easily cleaned 4 rooms in about 10 minutes. I am really happy I purchased and my life got that much better :) Also, this is just a regular review not paid. I feel it would be helpful for those people looking for a good stick vacuum to not get the run around.

but now I love it!!! When I received my Tineco A11 Hero vacuum, it was so lightweight I wasnt sure it was going to do the job. I live with three large dogs, and we are always going on adventures to the woods, lakes, and streams, and consequently, our cabin becomes the house of hair and dirt. Over the years we have acquired and used numerous vacuums of all types, but I have always preferred the lighter-weight ones for cleaning. Our cabin is just under 1100 square feet and includes a set of 13 stairs where we come in from the outside, so every time I clean I have to clean those stairs and my corded vacuum does not completely reach the whole way. The floors are laminate, with many different sizes and thickness of rugs throughout. This Tineco Hero takes care of the whole cabin with power to spare! I use the lowest setting for the laminate floors, and only occasionally need to up the power for the thickest rugs. My favorite things about this vacuum are the lightweight( it doesnt scare the dogs while Im cleaning), the LED headlights (I can really see all the dirt and hair), and the battery life (I can vacuum the whole cabin and still have power to burn). Of course, since it is a cordless stick-type vacuum I can go anywhere with it and get under all the beds and the couch easily. Because it is so lightweight and easy to use (and quiet), I tend to vacuum nearly every day when Im at the cabin, which cuts down on the need for those all-day cleaning sessions. I havent owned this vacuum long enough to see how it is going to hold up in the long run, but for now I love it and highly recommend it. Tineco has its own website and communicates frequently through email, so I feel like if I need it, product support will be there.

Ever buy something and then realize you should have gotten it a long time ago? Well this vacuum Is one of those things. First off let me say that I’m old fashioned when it comes to cleaning and always thought that a broom and dustpan is all you need psshhttt was I wrong. When I unboxed this thing and let it charge overnight, I wasted no time in giving it a gauntlet of test. The LED lights in the front of the sweeper really lit up all the dust and crap I would never have been able to see with the naked eye, it gave me a real sense of my home being clean afterwards. The attachments all come in useful especially the duster attachment, I used that to clean my ceiling fan and walls and was surprised by how much dust was being captured. I got carried away and just started moving furniture and cleaning under and around to see how well the battery performs, it did not get the 50 minutes thats advertised, I got 37 mins of continuous usage w/o using max mode. Thank god I opted for the 2 battery version though I did not feel the need to use max mode cause all dust, dirt and hair was sucked up in one pass. Which brings me to other features I really like, the suction power and noise level. I get home late at night and thats when I do most of my cleaning thus the broom and dustpan as to not make a whole lotta noise. The noise level on this thing is not bad at all, not something that would interrupt my Next door neighbors and I have a real pain in the ass one that complains over every lil noise but has not even noticed the noise from this vacuum, though max mode is significantly higher but not necessary due to its amazing suction power in normal mode. Its a light vacuum, I read in the comments about some people complaining about its weight- like seriously how weak do you need to be in order to complain about this thing being heavy? At first its lightness worried me because I associate lightness with cheap quality but I was wrong. Everything seems to be durable despite its lightness. The clear see thru design is cool looking and its wall mount is neat and functional and is able to hold all the accessories sans the filter cleaner which is ok. I like how they include 2 filters, i found it pretty easy to clean the filter and the attachment to do so is nicely designed. Pros: light - 2 batteries - cool looking - great suction power - battery life - low noise level in regular mode - attachments - LED lights on sweeper - warranty Cons: As a man I found the handle to hold the vacuum during usage to be on the small side, I can snuggly fit three fingers on the handle whilst having my index finger extended along the side, not a big deal but would have been nice to grip it better. - the toggle switch that allows you to continuously run the vacuum w/o the need to have the trigger pressed down is a bit on the sensitive side and I was constantly turning off the vacuum by accident with my thumb, again cause the grip is on the smaller side. A tad annoying especially when you are in the zone cleaning. - does not stand upright, I tried and once its started to lean over, I caught it just in time. I do not want to test the ruggedness of the plastic Its made from, though I said before it seems sturdy, I doubt it can take a direct hit on a hard floor w/o cracking its casing. Overall very good vacuum and would recommend to everyone.

I bought this thinking I could use it for my whole house and I can NOT. Its great for quick pickups around the house and for smaller projects like the car or the couch, or if the dog sheds in the kitchen. However, it is terrible on carpet and rugs. Im keeping it as a quick backup vacuum, the suction is impressive. On high power it dies after 12 minutes, but does run up to 30-40 on low power, which is really all you need for a quick sweep around the house on the hardwood/tile floors.

Description claims its good on hardwood floors. This is NOT TRUE. No matter which of the three powers you use, it throws the sand behind the vacuum rather than actually picking it up. If you need a vacuum for hardwood floors to pick up sand from being outdoors, dont buy this unless you have the patience to go back and fourth multiple times over the area you cleaned. The sand gets blown behind the cleaning head, and it takes multiple passes to pick it up. It wastes my time.
