    Greater than one week

A great addition to the household for those tasks not requiring a bulky, cumbersome, heavy, plug-in full-size vacuum cleaner. Chose this brand after much research, which confirmed good performance and great value. Purchased this specific model due to our desire for a motorized attachment specifically designed for bare floors and found it to be very good at its intended purpose. Overall, well designed, and effective dust and debris pick-up as well as reasonably leak-free construction. Decent battery longevity, but will likely buy a spare battery to allow hot swap. The provided wall-mounted stand has a built-in automatic charger for the unit as well as a second charger for the spare battery...a thoughtful bonus.

Performance was decent for the price and handheld factor for the 10 months I used the A11, but there were issues with the motor and it wouldnt be able to power to the third step without shutting itself down. Now the device will not even turn on. I have taken great care with it, only using it once one or two weeks on my hardwood floors in my studio (barely any debris or dirt). For it to not work in less that a year is an utter waste of money and I am so disappointed. I have tried all the troubleshooting guides and the device simply will not switch on even though the battery is full. I should have gone with the Dyson EDIT: I called the customer service line and explained the problem. They were able to send out a replacement main motor for free. Bumped up my review but still concerned the lifespan on this product is 1 year. Surprisingly good customer service

I first saw one of these being used at a restaurant, and was impressed enough to go to Amazon and start looking. I decided on the Hero as it specifically mentioned pet hair, and awaited it eagerly. I did fumble it a bit at first, but it really does an incredible job. The dustbin was filling up so fast I thought it must be actually physically removing carpet, so I went through one load carefully. No carpet fibers, but all sorts of hairs and dirt and dust. All my rugs brightened up amazingly, and it proved to be an amazing little tool. So light and easy to use. The one thing it has trouble with is gravel and grit, but dealing with that is quite easy. A lot of grit will catch in the power head, so I carefully take it to the bin, gently flip it up and let it fall a few times, and all the captured grit falls into the bin. For stuff it cant actually suck up it will dump a neat little pile where you lift the head up, and that is easy to get with a dust pan and brush. It does very well on the lowest suction setting - and the higher settings do even better when needed. All round this is an amazing tool, great fun to use, astoundingly efficient while making very little noise. It took me a while to get my head round that - virtually no noise and the dustbin was full. Just the opposite of all those unbelievably loud upright cleaners - all noise and no performance. I heartily recommend this tool for anyone who loves cleaning, anyone who hates cleaning, and anyone who does actually clean when it gets too much to tolerate. I am in this last group. It is light and quiet enough to just pick up and use for a 5 minute whisk around at any time. My first time at the living room, I figure that the dustbin needed emptying once for every 4 square feet of carpet. With time that has gone up , and now I can do most of the room before needing to empty it. I love it!!!

This was my first cordless stick vacuum and I did my research. I was changing from a new Dyson Ball to a stick because I have a lot of stairs and the Dyson was like a heavy ball and chain with a short cord. When the Hero box came, it was a nice presentation. The roller is a standard size, which is nice and it also has a small roller for furniture, etc. It is lighter than I thought it would be which makes taking it up and down stairs a delight and for getting in all the nooks and crannies. It goes under furniture better than the Dyson. I did a comparison to the Dyson which has reputed superior suction and the Hero was only very slightly less powerful. However, this stick seems to collect more dust and smaller particles than the Dyson. So, the Hero is light, priced better than many others, very easy to use, no cord, deceivingly quiet and works extremely well on the carpets, tile floors and furniture in my house. The battery life has not been an issue and I have not run out of juice yet. I have a dog so fur is my greatest nemesis, but this Hero sucks it all up. I even used it to clean my car floors with the wand attachment. And it hangs easily on its charger. I am very very happy I got this vacuum and will be getting another for my other place. Id say its fantastic for the price, but even if it were more expensive Id say the same thing.

I’ve had my vacuum for a little over a week now and I am in love with the suction power and all the attachments that make cleaning so much easier now and I’m able to clean better with the attachments as well. The battery dies so fast. Took my vacuum off the charger and started to vacuum my stairs. About half way up I notice I’ve already lost one of three battery lights but no big deal I can finish. I get to the top and it’s blinking red. 12 steps plus the top landing, not too much if you ask me. Not the first time the battery has not lasted more than 20 mins and I had it on the lowest power setting. The vacuum does seem to get more suction power every now and then even without me changing it and I check the lights as well and they remain the same but some how different suction power. Will be calling support to see what is going on here. Other than the low battery after a few moments of cleaning I love the vacuum still.

This is my second Tineco cordless stick vacuum. I had some issues with the first, but the customer service department is very good and we fixed the issue with a few e-mails. Well, I wore out the first model I had in a little over a year. Hang on, I use it once, sometimes twice a day - I have 2 Old English Sheepdog and yes, they shed. It makes noise but totally quit picking / sucking anything up. I have had 4 Dysons and they also wore out in about 18 months, but at twice the price of the Tineco. So, I decided to buy another Tineco. Well, heres my issue and or disappointment. The Tineco A11 looks exactly like the first one I bought. All aspects except that the batteries from my old one (I bought an extra for more time with the old one) do not work on the new A11. Now I have to buy another battery. Thats it. Tineco really does put out a good product, I had hoped the old batteries that look basically the same would have worked with the new A11 that I bought. Nothing serious, I just felt they should have worked on both models, modern day marketing! The blue battery in the pic is the new one for the A11.

If I wrote this 1 year ago it would give 5 stars, but I still have stars in my eyes for it, it’s light weight, good for my weak wrists. It picks up pet hair and I have a lot of it. Quick and fast clean-up for that unexpected guest. Great for a bedroom, bathroom, smaller room, or about 20 minutes of vacuuming anywhere in the house. It will not vacuum a 2,000 sq foot house in one charge, so don’t buy it for that, plug in a cord for that. I don’t use it on carpet, but I do use it for kitty litter tracks, and while it will pick it up I have to go over slow or a few times. It comes apart for easy cleaning, the latches are a little hard to open, but I think you want that so it will keep good suction. Oh, one thing to be aware of, it does not stand up on its own, so trying to make a quick getaway will likely end it up on the floor or back in its base. Overall it’s a great product, and I’m glad I bought it.

This is my first cordless vacuum, so I was interested in finding one that could do the job for as little money as possible, knowing I wouldnt get a top-of-the-line model. I think I did well with my purchase - I am LOVING the quick grab-and-go freedom of a cordless vacuum, and how easy it is to empty and change between the various tools. I vacuum every day now instead of whenever I can muster the energy to drag out my heavy corded vacuum. All that said, the suction on this isnt as good as Id want in something Id be using longterm. I have to run it over rug areas multiple times to get everything up, which isnt great, but considering how light and easy to use this is, Im not too mad about it. It does much better on hardwood than rugs.

I have a Dyson handheld vacuum that runs out of battery power before I complete my downstairs. I love my Dyson it is very powerful, I use it daily. There are some special additions that Tineco has that I enjoy. Pros: -Headlight, I can see all the dust and dog hair that I need to vacuum. -Lays a little flatter than the Dyson. I can get under my entire sofa, bed and bookshelf. -2 batteries, I can vacuum my entire house without running out of charge. -Able to clean all the filters easily. They twist and pull right out so that you can really dump everything out. You can do this every time you vacuum if you like. -Quiet -Perfect for wood and tile. It also does a decent job on small rugs. -Attachments fit nicely on the battery charger that can be mounted on the wall. -Comes with more attachments than Dyson Cons -Tineco’s quiet make me think it isn’t as powerful as the Dyson. It doesn’t suck as much out of my carpet as the Dyson does -Doesn’t fluff the carpet like Dyson I think this is the perfect vacuum for hard surfaces. You can easily pick up dog/human hair, dust, retainer rubber bands, etc. The light is one of my favorite features that really helps get my house clean. I can see any little spot I missed and know it is hair and dust free with one pass. If you have carpet I would get a Dyson instead. You may have to wait for it to charge again to complete your home, and there is no light but it will do a great job.

Description claims its good on hardwood floors. This is NOT TRUE. No matter which of the three powers you use, it throws the sand behind the vacuum rather than actually picking it up. If you need a vacuum for hardwood floors to pick up sand from being outdoors, dont buy this unless you have the patience to go back and fourth multiple times over the area you cleaned. The sand gets blown behind the cleaning head, and it takes multiple passes to pick it up. It wastes my time.
