> 3 dayI previously owned the shark pet pro (market value about $200). It pretty much stopped working after one year. When researching a replacement I saw a lot of tineco models. I have a 2BR apartment with carpet and hardwood so I needed a model that could do both. Battery life was not as much of an issue for me (however you can purchase extra battery packs and I believe there are other brand that make the lithium batteries with the same attachment). After using it for a week I don’t have a bad thing to say about it! My favorite part is how easy it is to clean. Very similar in that way to the Dyson stick vacuum. The part about hair not getting caught in the brush head is TRUE! I have long hair and have not had to cut any out of the brush head. Highly recommend! Very easy to clean out which makes me the happiest.

> 3 dayI’ve been using this for a few months now and it is fabulous. We have vinyl plank flooring with rugs. Live on a ranch and also have a toddler so we’re using it daily, often multiple times a day. The only drawback is it doesn’t do SUPER well on carpet/rugs but we use our standard vacuum for that. This cleans up dirt and debris on hard flooring and the light makes it easy to see pet hair and dirt/sand. Never had the battery die and we vacuum multiple rooms. And the attachments are great too. Plus it’s not that loud which is great as our toddler is alarmed by things like blenders, standard vacuum etc. It also doesn’t bother our flighty cats. When you don’t have time to constantly break out the broom and dust pan, this does the trick. Also great to suck up stuff in the car seat, the play area, etc with the multiple attachments.

> 3 daySo far I like the vacuum… but it came used with hair and dirt in the dust bin and a little hair in the brush roller. I definitely did not appreciate that. I have never had a cordless vacuum before so I can’t accurately compare battery life but for me it feels like you have to go in with a game plan before so you don’t waste time and run out of battery. It’s a little awkward because the bottom of the vacuum is practically weightless and the handheld part is like holding a dumbbell. Sort of feels cheap but it does work well in my opinion. I do not regret purchasing so far and I think it has met all my needs so far. (This will not replace a normal vacuum FYI) I bought this for my entry area which is constantly sandy and gross from two dogs who swim all day, a toddler, and a dirty husband, complete with a dirt driveway and road!

03-01-2025The vacuum isnt very heavy feeling in my hands or in my back, neck and legs. I usually have to switch holding it back and forth because even though its light, to my body it feels heavy sometimes, which is why its awesome that you can not only pull the trigger for it to work but flip a switch and it stays on without you having to do anything else. It has a turbo boost that will also stay on if the switch is on. Awesome if you need a little extra suction on an area rug. It also works great on my outdoor carpet on my decks. It also will give the regular setting a boost if it senses the area being cleaned is a little more dirty. It has a face on the top that senses when the filter needs to be cleaned and other stuff as well as a light that turns from blue to red if it senses more dirt in an area when vacuuming. There is an app that shows you information going on with your vacuum performance. I installed it, checked it out and then uninstalled it. Its really not essential and does nothing to make its job easier for you to use the vacuum. Checking filter is pretty much a given, isnt it? I dont want pretty bells and whistles, I want a vacuum that kicks @$$, that does what its supposed to do without breaking the bank. I didnt realize it would come with the filter suction cleaner accessory and I ordered one as well so now I have a spare plus I ordered a couple extra filters. The removable filter tube thingie that holds the filter is so awesome! Put the dirty filter in the cleaner, put a clean filter back in vacuum cleaner, turn it on, turn the dial thingie on the edge of cleaner to turn the filter and between the little brushes inside the tube and the turbo boost youve got a clean filter! Dirt will eventuality pack into the corners of the canister. Just clean it out with some compressed air but make sure you do that outside! The long skinny brush attachment is great for cleaning small or tight places you couldnt get by hand and to clean out bugs from inbetween the screen and window when cleaning windows. Its also the best at cleaning your heating/air duct area under your vents. It then gives you no excuse to not clean the vent covers since theyre off anyway! Just be careful and dont forget the vent cover is off and fall into it with your foot and leg like Ive done more times than Ive got legs! The short brush attachment that has a larger sized opening (different then Ive ever seen before!) and its great from everything to dusting collectibles, dusting ceiling fans and the air return vent cover! Only thing is extra batteries were sold out (the wall caddy that holds/charges the vacuum and some, though not all accessories, has a space for an extra battery as well!!) so I guess I need to check and see if they have any yet. I would buy this again, one of my favorite vacuums Ive ever bought. I wish the cover for the containment canister was a little more secure, mine has broken and even though it still seals, sometimes it gets dropped into the garbage can when emptying the dirt. Now if this vacuum was as smooth moving as a Dyson (it really does, I love using my moms, I thought about stealing it) with the on switch you can choose to lock on that this vacuum has with a fair price (theres no reason these little vacuums should cost as much as a decent fridge or washer and dryer, a car or mortgage payment). Even though I dont think this brand should be as expensive as it is, (I have a $40 upright canister vac Ive had about 15 years now and it still works great and even though it has a hardwood flooring setting it doesnt do that well on non carpeted floors. Which has led to my hunt for a great vacuum that doesnt cause me pain to use. I shouldnt hurt the 2+ days after doing the floors) its cheaper than a Dyson but cleans as well as the Dyson, thats the reason we got this one. Im still happy with it, but wouldnt turn a Dyson down if I received it as a gift lolol UPDATE 8/24/22 I forgot to mention that in order to get under furniture without the head tilting, bend down and turn your hand 1/4 turn and it will lay flat. If you1/4 turn left the head will want to go left, same with the right turn going right. So you can get underneath furniture that doesnt have great clearance, you can get how ever the highth of the head. Im able to get under the dressers that have that gap at the bottom. AND BTW - Im still loving it and Im glad I got the extra battery with the added bonus the spare battery holder on top of the wall caddy also charges, so when Ive had to use turbo extra or Ive just been vacuuming that long (its amazing that the teenager never has to change the battery the whole time shes vacuuming the same floors I am lol), I pop the charged battery in the vacuum and pop the dead battery up top so itll be ready the nextday or even later the same day depending on how long its been charging. I honestly dont know how long it takes to charge. Guess I should look that up so I can time it every once in a while to see if theyre still maintaining a charge and if not, how fast is. That would be good information for a future update!

> 3 dayMy home is 762 sq feet and my vacuum only last long enough for my bedroom to be vacuumed. Other then that it works great i love to be able to see how it shows you where their is debri. The suction is great as well and to start using it super easy to clear out. Other then the batter i have no complaints. If you have pets get the pet edition trust me the add ons pay off.

Greater than one weekI bought this vacuum in the hopes that going cord-free would make vacuuming less of a chore. Tineco has surpassed my expectations! I used to dread vacuuming on the weekend, but with the S15, vacuuming is so easy (and almost fun) that I vacuum high traffic areas daily. I had not heard of Tineco, but I bought it based on NYTs Wirecutter, whose recommendations have never steered me wrong. Wirecutter recommended the cheaper S11, but I went with S15 because I hate dealing with tangled hair. The S15 handles my hair perfectly. When I was researching Tineco, I thought the smart feature sounded gimmicky. However, its actually very helpful having the pink/red light come on when the floor is particularly dirty, and I like that the suction increases automatically if necessary. I now realize that with my old vacuum, I was leaving a lot of dirt behind. I also like how easy it is to dump the dirt out! Theres a trap door where it falls out, and a lever that pushes it down if some help is needed. With my old vacuum, I had to reach in every time to get out clumps of dirt, and it was so gross to touch and breathe in that stuff. There are 2 negatives, but I think theyre standard with on stick vacuums: It feels a bit heavier in my hand than I would like. And the battery doesnt last long enough to do my entire house; only maybe 1,000 square feet. Neither of these things bother me that much. I dont mind taking a break during the vacuuming.

> 3 dayI’m in absolute love with this vacuum! It is so easy to use, it does an incredible job cleaning and I like that you can click a button and make it go into max mode for those high traffic areas. We have two dogs that shed a lot and the head light helps illuminate the dirt, dust and hair on the floor so you can make sure you get it all. The only down sides is the trash container is small and with two dogs that means a few extra trips to the trash to empty it. But thankfully it’s super easy to empty. Also that handle is a little heavy because of the battery and trash canister but it’s still lighter than our Kirby.

> 3 dayI have owned Dyson products for several years. The costs of Dyson products would indicate an exceptional level of quality, right? Not so, I find. Finally, after not being able to repair my current Dyson V11 any longer I have decided to look elsewhere. So, I thought I need to look for a better quality product. After reading a whole mess of reviews, I decided that Id get the Tineco Pure. Nowadays, the industry has certainly improved. I wanted to find a vacuum with a high level of quality and a reasonable cost. Im actually looking forward to vacuuming my floors. They are mostly hard surface with some area rugs. The Pure S11 handles the fur and particles my four cats and I leave laying around each day. The S11 handles things very well at a level equal to that of the Dyson. The product is better made in my opinion and repair parts are plentiful. The vacuum looks really nice and is so much lighter than the Dyson. And quiet? Amazingly so. The Dyson sounded like a small jet engine all the time, let alone on maximum suction. The Tineco doesnt even bother the cats. Im amazed. Issues are that the battery slowly wears down. It apparently does not hold a consistent charge during use. The suction gradually gets weaker the longer it runs. Another issue that is confusing to me is that it will attach itself to area rugs like a leach and to move the vacuum over the rug is quite difficult. Due to the suction. On my bathroom floor, it will really bog down over the linoleum. Its like it wants to attach itself to the floor. Over regular hard floors or carpet, it works fine. Cant explain this. Suggestions to Tineco: Make the trigger be for max suction when you need it. As an on/off switch, it is not very handy. The always on lever is much more useful. Either improve or discontinue the app. Not very helpful and very glitchy (I use an iPhone). If you are wondering, go for it. You, if you are a reasonable person, you will find it a pleasant experience.
