> 24 hourI got this to do some light gaming which it is good for. I had to make a few adjustments to get it to my liking but it plays breath of the wild, uncharted 4 updated version, ratchet and clank, and the Guardians game very well. As a matter of fact just about all of my PS5 and Switch games look good. But I also use this monitor to hook up my phone or tablet and go into DEX mode. It looks great and gives me a beautiful desktop computer. I think there are probably better gaming monitors out there but for what I use it for, its great. No dead pixels and beautiful colors. I use it for Disney+ and Youtube TV and both look awesome. When I play youtube vids at 60 fps they look awesome. Overall just a great purchase.

> 24 hourDecent monitor for the price. However, the power button location makes this monitor practically useless. The power button is located in the middle of the monitor on the BACK. YUP in the middle, not on the edge or tucked just behind the edge. NOPE, almost directly in the middle of the back. So if you plan on mounting this unit on a wall mount. Forget about it. No clue what designers were thinking.

> 24 hourI primarily use this product for gaming on my PC and occasionally Xbox. Overall the monitor is perfect for a desktop setup considering the size. I have not had any problems with the monitor at all, the customization options are simple and effective as well as the portability just in case you do need to move it. I fell in love with this monitor and have already bought three of them for my personal setup at home. I recommend this product to anyone trying to get a nice monitor for an affordable price. Some things you may want to look out for are the sound quality and the material quality. The volume of the monitor does not go very high and doesnt sound the best so I would recommend a speaker along with it. The quality of the back panel is strong but is only hard plastic so it is vulnerable to some damage in that respect. Other than that I have no other problems with the monitor and I am very pleased with my purchase.

> 24 hourThis is my first time buying a separate monitor for my laptop. Its wonderful having a great big screen, where I can easily put two documents side-by-side (like a source document and my notes document when I do research) and see them both easily without my reading glasses. As for the resolution, Ive been spoiled by the incredibly high resolution on my new MacBook Pro, so the this screen is a step down, but still very good. I sometimes wish it could get a teensy bit brighter. Also the sound quality, though it might be better than most monitors (I dont know) is still not that great--far inferior to my little Bose stereo that I hook up my phone to. And its several clicks on different buttons to increase or decrease volume, so its a nuisance for listening to music, but fine for, say, watching a short video clip or videoconferencing. By the way, for videoconferencing I had to buy a separate camera. But I dont know of any monitors that have the camera built in, so thats life.

> 24 hourThese are great monitors. We have been buying them for work for the last couple of months. I have yet to receive a defective one or any with dead/stuck pixels. I think we have purchased 20 or so total now. Nice large, vibrant monitors with lots of input options (HDMI, VGA, DVI). It also has a 3.5 mm audio plug if you dont use the HDMI connection but you want to use the monitors speakers (which arent great but you are buying a monitor for the image quality not the speakers!). Easy to setup (tools arent required to attach the stand base) and windows 7 doesnt need any drivers to use the monitor (do any monitors need drivers that arent built in to windows now adays?). If you are looking for a rock solid LED/LCD monitor, look no further. I have been using viewsonic for almost 15 years (for lcd monitors) and I still have my original 19 lcd monitor at home working. I have never had one fail on me and I dont expect to have any fail on me any time soon. The only reason I continue to buy new ones are to get larger screens and wide screen aspect ratios. This monitor has been my favorite so far.

> 24 hourI was in a bit of a jam on Friday April 11. I woke up that day and opened my trusty MacBook Pro, and thats when I heard it. A sound. A bad sound. A horrible, gut-wrenching sound that was somewhat akin to a meat grinder creating a pile of sausages for some kind of sausage party. And that sound was coming from my laptop. After running around in pure panic for a little while, I decided that no matter what was going on, it was time to replace my 5-year-old computer. So, I purchased a great Mac mini (i7 quad core with 8GB RAM), but then needed something to see the computer do its thing. A monitor, if you will. I looked at Apples monitor offering... a $999 monstrosity that Im sure is very nice. But I wasnt going to spend that kind of money. I work in graphic design among other areas of marketing, so a good monitor is pretty darn important to my life. Back in the days of CRT monitors, Id used a ViewSonic, and had nothing but good experiences with them. But that was in the 90s, and a lot changed since then. Like my hairline, and waistband. The monitor arrived very quickly. I am always amazed at how fast things arrive from Amazon, even though I almost always opt for the free shipping. I put in the included power cable, then plugged it into the Mac mini using a single HDMI cable that Id purchased for the occasion. I fired up the computer and presto-bango, the monitor roared to life. Well, it didnt roar, really. It quietly came on, and I was impressed right away. Everything was nice and crisp. I tested out some high-res graphic files, and colors looked really good. Lets be frank: this isnt one of ViewSonics best monitors, nor is it designed for graphic work. Its a gaming monitor designed for people who want a nice 24 screen without spending big money. The build quality is decent, but you can see that not a lot of work went into making the areas where the cable connect very pretty. My answer to that? Who cares! Its a nice monitor that cost very little. I use it for everything from print ad creation through video editing through web design, and it works just fine. Ive also used it to watch movies, and play games (as it was intended). Everything functions just fine. All pixels are happily lit. The stand does its job, though theres not much adjustability to it. Considering the price, I have no complaints, and would recommend this to anyone who, like me, wants a pretty good monitor without spending a ton of cash.

> 24 hourThis replaced a 22 Viewsonic that I have had for many years but is got fried by lightning strike. I like quality, setup is a bit challenging but do-able. Only thing I dislike is the tinny audio speakers. the old 22 where much better. I am using it on a Mac laptop OS.10.14.5

> 24 hourI bought this monitor to use with my MacBook Pro, which is running MacOS Sierra. So happy with this purchase!!! Installation was simply. I plugged my monitor in, using the HDMI port. It was immediately recognized by my Mac. I only had to check the mirror box in the System Preferences and I was up and running. I didnt have to mess with the resolution settings, at all. It works, looks beautiful, and is just wide enough to easily allow for two pages /documents on your screen, without using the split screen feature. I usually buy ViewSonic monitors, for my employer, so I naturally gravitated toward this brand. The monitors at my office usually last a very long time. After reading reviews, I found that ViewSonic is one of the best and cheapest brands for monitors. Im very happy with my purchase. Keep in mind that if you are plugging this into a MacBook, you will probably need a mini-display port, to HDMI cord. I bought mine on Amazon for $10. It is the Benfei 4k Mini Displayport to HDMI 6 cable; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0146N8BDO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There are other ones to choose from, but this one works easily. It is a cord, not an adapter. Just plug the HDMI end (big end) into your monitor and the mini-display port (small end) into your MacBook. There are other brands, but this one had good reviews and seems to be a good quality product.

> 24 hourI’ve used View Sonic monitors in the past and always been pleased with them. No problems; they worked right out of the box, for many years. Main reason I bought this monitor was the View Split software – I had enough problems with a 2 monitor setup that it was time to go back to 1, and with the software to create partitions on my screen, this was a bonus, and exactly what I needed. That’s when the problems started. The View Split zip file was terrible. According to my IT professional friend – the zip was poorly made. It was only thanks to my IT friend that I was even able to extract and finally use the software. She commented on how poor the zip file was created. I’ve been working with computers for many years and when I have problems extracting a simple zip file and need help to extract it? You know there’s something wrong with it. Never in all my years of working with computers have I had problems extracting folders from a zip file – until now. I gave this monitor a 4 star review because of the view split software. Yes, it finally worked, but not without a lot of unnecessary time spent trying. Pros: 24” size; colors are sharp, crisp and true. Delivery was in 1 day. Outstanding. Monitor was packed well. VGA, DVI, audio and power cables included in the box. Cons: View Split software zip poorly made. The 1 piece of paper that passes for a “manual” was a joke. Font so small I would’ve needed a microscope to view it – so it was useless. I did download a better manual for this monitor separately and used it instead.

> 24 hourMy dad has this monitor for the computer in the house. I use to LOVE using his computer over mine until I made the same purchase myself. My dad has a really good computer guy ($140.00/hour). He does amazing work, but of course I can’t afford him. I’ve had amazon for years, so I try to get all of my items from Amazon vs. dealing with a direct person or going to a store. I found this on amazing, and the best part was that it was cheaper here than with my dads computer guy and with the free 2-day shipping. I actually think it was free 1-day shipping. I love that the buttons to run off are easy to use. I like how the light goes on when you turn the monitor on and goes away when it’s being turned off. The quality of the screen is very good. I would highly recommend this.
