> 3 dayI am upgrading my laptop to faster and bigger drive... This cloned fine but never booted, I used Acronis from Western Digital web site is free made for this, Macrium Reflect and AOMEI various versions. All would clone and plugged in with USB to any computer would see it and show a size stored but show up as RAW and not NTFS and so forth like it was not formatted. So we tried the fresh install from windows boot media. Nope error on install and error on format. Useless. If you plug it and set it up as a USB external enclosure hard drive it works fine being partitioned. I used 3 different M.2 NVMe enclosures verifying it wasnt the enclosure issue. Nope. After a 2 hour live chat with WD I suggested lets try a Patriot M.2 drive just to verify hardware. Patriot drive cloned in 22 minutes, took it out slapped it in the laptop, turned it on and booted perfectly. All while doing Bootmgr and recovery options in Command prompts with WD. He wasnt thrilled that Patriot performed perfectly and this one was junk. So I returned this and I am Only buying Patriot from now on. Wasted hours and hours and google searching and forum searched trying everything and Live chat with laptop provider and Western Digital for it to be junk. I have more screen shots but you get my message. Buy Patriot cant go wrong, Yes its a NVMe M.2 Gen3. I got a lemon Western Digital.

> 3 dayPrograms open near instantly, levels in SW Battlefront 2 load much quicker and boot time was cut in half over my 512MB SSD. Using it on an older A320 AM4 board. Works great and would recommend for anyone buying a boot or system drive. Skip buying another SATA drive and use these if your system can.

> 3 dayPretty high price for a 500gb card, especially with slower speeds than other brands.

> 3 daysuper easy to install and is working flawless. ive upgraded most of my old laptops to some form of SSD and its definitely worth it! startup and shutdown are way faster. transferring data is also alot faster. additionally, the power consumption should be less than an HDD. allowing your battery to last longer while its unplugged.

Greater than one weekI was shocked out how much faster my boot-up time and game load time was compared to a traditional SATA SSD. Installation can be tricky depending on the motherboard and mounting on the motherboard.
