Im not gonna pretend Im some Techie Expert. But at 40 something, ive seen things come and go. I got this laptop for home use and work on Youtube videos.... MS Office too. In this IThis / TouchThat of today.. ( josh I feel like an old man)... This Unit feel solid and made to last. Even the keys have a nice excellent feel... Yes it is am Amazons Choice and that is why I got it as well....Good to see Amazon knows what they are talking about.. I recommend. WIth that said, I do NOT do online modern gaming... ( Im still enjoying my ol school NES-PS2) but with video editing and multi-track music recording ( bass) this thing is excellent .

Amazing laptop at a great price! This laptop punches above its weight in all categories. The full HD (IPS!! What!?!) display is gorgeous, deep blacks, bright, and vibrant with amazing viewing angles. The CPU is very capable for light productivity (web, accounting, word processing, etc. Last, upgradeability, something that is harder and harder to find these days, you can easily and cheaply upgrade the hard drive and RAM to keep this device running great for at least three years (amazing for any price point)

First laptop in 12 years blows my old one out of the water. However the keyboard is smaller than my old Lenovo and God I miss my full size key pad. A scroll on the mouse pad would have been nice to

Really nice laptop. Way above average for a “budget” laptop. Everything works perfect and fast. Really sleek aluminum shell sets it apart. I expected less for what I paid. Very happy with this purchase. Upgraded the memory to a dual 4g ddr4 chip. Runs like a champ! Not bad for $350 delivered to my door! I don’t think you could get a better deal than this for what you get. For sure your best bang for your buck.

I joined the masses and ordered this laptop for its potential. The detailed reviews about the ease of upgrading the RAM and adding another SSD was the tipping point and proved to be true. I added a second 4gb stick and a 512mb 7mm SSD drive. From start to finish, including updates, was less than 30 minutes. Super quick boot time <10 sec to log in screen. You will want to update the graphics driver via device manager. The rest of the drivers were up to date. Sound quality was a concern. I went into the Realtek manager and switched from music mode to game mode and it made a big difference in the volume for me. Your mileage may vary. If you prop the front of the laptop up slightly, not covering the speakers, the quality improves also. All in for me, including the RAM and second SSD was under $300 with all discounts. Happy to replace my workhorse, but slowly dying HP I have had for 8 years. Hoping this ACER will fill its shoes.

Use this only for streaming but a very exceptional laptop. Will use for work for online access very happy with my purchase
