I’ve had this laptop for two years. As far as function, it’s fine. The quality is so poor that the laptop is already broken. One of the pieces that opens and closes the screen has completely broken off and the plastic around the screen has cracked. This laptop has been used by ONE very careful adult for work purposes. It stays on my desk, has never been carried out of the house, has never been dropped. One day I opened the laptop for work, as I always do, and heard “crack” and it all fell apart. I’ve contacted Acer numerous times for repair and get the run around or no response at all. Save your money and buy a higher quality laptop. I’ll never buy an Acer again!

Served basic purposes well for about a year and a half and now the enter button and the touchpad dont work. Spend your money elsewhere.

This computer is very speedy for everyday tasks like web surfing, word/spreadsheet processing and regular video streaming. I upgraded the Samsung internal RAM memory to 8gb for about $25, I highly recommend doing this. Not crazy about the track pad being right of center instead of dead center, but I use it with a wireless mouse, so this is not an issue for me. Keyboard is well layed out and very responsive. Screen quality is OK, but I wouldn’t recommend it for high octane gaming.

love the laptop, great screen, easy to upgrade ram, battery died 4 months after purchase, have to return the laptop to repair and pay about $40. very disappointed with quality

Super fast and good screen quality. It was definitely worth the price and i use it daily for basic functions.

I love the way the backlight turns off by itself after 20sec. very fast and light.

Its good for limited games

TERRIBLE USER EXPERIENCE. First, found out that no apps can be installed unless you buy full Windows which adds another $150 to the total, making it significantly more expensive. Then, we find that there are CONSTANT CONNECTIVITY ISSUES with this laptop despite VERY strong WIFI signals. CANNOT USE ZOOM or STREAMING SERVICES on this laptop because it constantly drops you from internet connectivity and requires you to troubleshoot to get it working again. Thought we fixed it by altering some battery settings, but it came back again 1 month later. Useless unless you dont need consistent internet connectivity; which makes it a glorified document editor. DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP.

I purchased an Acer just like this 6+ years ago and it stood the test of time. Im even happier with this one. Backlit keyboard, touchpad that is light to the touch and all of the ports I need - HDMI, etc. Amazing value at this price point. Highly recommend!
