> 3 dayMy laptop died the first week of COVID lockdown. Try to get anyone anywhere to replace it was futile. The delivery times on Amazon were insane and there was NO ANSWER at HP, IBM, Dell etc. Best Buy was shuttered and no one was responding to website or phone inquiries. I HAD to order a machine that would come within a week. This was just about the only one.

> 3 dayIf you plan on using this for anything more than just browsing a few tabs, get some extra ram. It’s cheap enough and easy enough to install and you’ll be glad you did since 4gb is pretty pitiful. It has a nice screen and doesn’t feel as budget as many other laptops in this price range.

> 3 dayEver since I got this, I had to hard reset it about one month in, in the January after the December I bought it, and then every month thereafter until the latest time where I am hard resetting it about every week or two. If I dont do this, it will crash, the screen turns blue, etc. Such a hassle! I have never owned an Acer, and never will in the future, unless they magically make it work upon sending it back to fix.

After 13 months of relatively gentle, but regular use, the right hinge seems to want to dislodge itself, which makes the screen frame want to separate from the unit, and several keys are now unresponsive. These are evidently common complaints when you review the Help Community that Acer provides, which really offers no help. This pc has never taken been out of the home, and only has one user, no kids. I am disappointed with the type of support that Acer offers, and of course, this all begins one month after the 12 month warranty expired. I had my Toshiba laptop with no problems for 10 years, but I will be lucky if this hunk of junk makes it two years. I am upset with myself for buying this piece of junk without doing more research.
