So I finally needed a new laptop because of the prospect of going for my doctorate degree so I figured I would just get a basic laptop since I really only stream some soccer games and surf the web for research and what not. So far I have been using this laptop for a couple of months now and I do really like it, but I am also not picky. I havent had a new laptop in 14 years so thats what I have for comparison haha. Anyways everything is just fine for the price. It starts up real quick and shuts down real quick which is nice. I took it out of S Mode right away because I need to download non Microsoft apps for school and I like it better this way. I also like Chrome a lot more than Windows Edge as a browser. Anyways I do like the design, it feels sturdy and like it could take some abuse. The only disappointment is the battery life. I would expect a basic laptop to have decent battery life since I dont have a lot of apps and dont use it for a lot of high power usage tasks, but between streaming soccer 50% of the usage and just surfing the web for the other 50% it seems to average about 4-6 hours. Now like I said, I havent had a new laptop in a while, but I remember they had that battery life 14 years ago so I think I just expected far better 14 years later. Perhaps 4-6 hours is good. Not sure, but it seems low to me. Oh well, still very satisfied with it and would certainly recommend it to others as of right now.

I am a virtual therapist, so I really needed a dependable computer. Sadly this is NOT that. Ive only just unboxed it 3 weeks ago and its already crashing randomly, multiple times during therapy sessions. That means I lose income in addition t the money I wasted on this product.

This is an amazing laptop for the price. I bought it for college class use. I love the backlit keyboard, as well as the IPS Display. I also enjoy its second 2.5inch bay for another drive. The mounting mechanism isnt the greatest, but hey, for the money it is great! The Upgradeability is quite something. Currently typing this review on it right now, and the keyboard is nothing like my high end mechanical keyboard, but is not bad. It does the job I need it to do. It is very springy and responsive, or as responsive as a membrane board can be. The condensed number pad is a little to get used to, but it does the job. My only complaint is that it only has one USB 3.1 port. I love the fact that it has Gigabit Ethernet on-board. The lack of a hardware power button is a little odd, but I am getting used to it. It has an independent sleep and power button. The backlight off button is extremely useful to me as I use it when I need my night vision for looking at the stars. All around this is an amazing Laptop, and an Acer may be cheap, but it is pretty amazing.

Would not hold a charge right out of the box. Acer said to return for exchange or credit. I will buy a better brand and pay the extra money. The old adage you get what you pay for. Any Acer product I have bought over the years I returned. Cheap stuff!

I really love the look, the feel, the operation of my Acer Laptop. very lite weight for mobility. I really love that the key board lights up. Im, lets just say I am a senior so the keys lighting up is awesome for me. Since I just got it, I havent had much time to really explore; but what I have been able to do has been a great experience. I would highly recommend this laptop. Very easy to operate. Oh I also love the extra large scroll pad. so much easier to work. Thank You so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It works well to do the normal things online for example surf the web pay bills and watch Netflix other then that I haven’t played games on it or download or uploaded anything, it’s a bit heavy and sometimes you can hear the fan, but for the price I’m good

This is a great fit for me, I only use this laptop for streaming and watching stuff. Quality is sufficient and the laptop itself is very lightweight. I was not expecting a light one considering the big screen size but became a huge plus for me as I carry my laptop from places.

After a few months with this laptop, the touchpad no longer works. Im very disappointed, but overall the laptop is an easy set up and performs well.
