I kid. It is quite bright, though. To feel comfortable I run it at 80/100 brightness. Conveniently, the 4 screws/washers you must remove to detach the default stand mount (attached to it out-of-the-box) are also the same fittings needed to mount a VESA bracket. This is definitely a great gaming monitor for consoles such as the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. However, its definitely worth noting that it only has a refresh rate of 60hz which doesnt do much good for PC gaming. While it may have been due to internet connection, I have noticed some drops at times when playing Ghost Recon Wildlands on Ultra and also Very High. You may want to spend the extra money for a monitor that has a refresh rate of 144hrz. Other than that, the picture quality is gorgeous. It upscaled my regular PS4 big time. Ive never seen such vivid colors and, when playing Wildlands on PS4, I noticed some details that werent there when playing on a 1080P tv. Definitely worth the money if youre a console gamer.

From the looks of the box packaging and no protective films on monitor and broken base stand notch to hold the monitor, i am pretty sure i received a monitor someone ordered tried and returned. I was on a call with amazon customer service with not much support to go for it.. no replacement offered . .guess out of stock .. choose another monitor and return was the option .. which i didnt have to be on the call for i guess.. duh.... !!! I am desperate as school year has started and i am in no mood to do the research in getting another monitor . call me lazy or impatience whatever.. but the fact is in the end its not helping me as a customer receiving items as hand me downs as even though it is for a day or a month.. I might as well like to claim a discount for it in that case. which i didnt claim or was offered .. I guess will stop my ranting at that for the amazon customer service as far as the product goes.. Core functionalities look good.. nice resolution. good presets . blue level filters. perfect dimensions for monitor .. have couple of ultra wide monitors ... i like this better instead.

For the money, I think the monitor is a good buy. I have 3 27 monitor a great tri-monitor stand that has VESA mounts. Since this is a 4K monitor. The other two monitors are 1080p monitors I made it, my main monitor The monitor menu system is easy to learn. My only real complaint its not bright enough

Pairs nice with ps 5 as a stand alone game center.

I saw some negative reviews and was hesitant on this monitor, but I was reassured when I found an old post on proper calibration. This monitor is amazing for the price. The only downfall is that it maxes out at 60hz, so its not ideal for competitive gaming. Single-player games look amazing at 4k, and 60hz is fine because you wont be getting much more than 60 fps with such high settings. If you want a monitor for single-player games or have a console, then honestly, this is the best bang for your buck.

THEY LITERALLY LIE ABOUT THE SCREEN SIZE its only 26in the screen itself is 25 Everything about this monitor is really great except for the shadows. Dark colors just simply arent dark enough. Like for some reason all of the black on the monitor is washed up and not as black as it should be. You can see from my pictures the first is from my original 1080p monitor that came with my laptop and you can see that the shadowing looks like shadows. And then on the Asus monitor the shadowing is almost non-existent. Everything else about this monitor is better than my old monitor except for the shadowing. Aside from that its a great monitor but because of that I dont know if Ill be keeping it. And it doesnt seem like any amount of playing around with the settings on the monitor change anything.
