I had ordered OWC prior and the iMAC hated that idea. The Crucial memory installed flawlessly and no problems since.

It took moments to install and is working perfectly.

Worked great on 2017 imac

plug and play. Used open dimm slots for the 16gb sticks, did not switch around with existing 8gb (4gbx2) from apple. Performance hit is negligible for my purposes, so not worth the time fiddling. Will be getting another 32gb kit eventually anyway.

My wifes HP laptop had 4gb of memory but only one memory slot. It was very slow booting and almost as slow waking up. After installing the 8gb memory the laptop is dramatically improved. I suppose this review is less about the memory and more about HP building such a slow laptop that is easily made faster.

Easy to install. System recognizes the new ram instantly on first boot after install. Works great to improve speed and comes in nice packaging. Much cheaper than Apple ram.
