Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 Memory for Mac CT2K32G4S266M

For pennys on the dollar (compared to paying Apple for the upgrade) I was able to add 64 GB of ram to my iMac. Install took about 90 seconds and thats because I spent a minute carefully laying the big beautiful display down on something to protect it.

Added this to the 16MB on my iMac 27 2017. Works perfectly.

Cant remember what we did with it

My wifes HP laptop had 4gb of memory but only one memory slot. It was very slow booting and almost as slow waking up. After installing the 8gb memory the laptop is dramatically improved. I suppose this review is less about the memory and more about HP building such a slow laptop that is easily made faster.

worked perfect on 2017 27 iMac

I just received this RAM to upgrade my IMAC 2017 to make it faster for video editing soon as i installed the ram my iMac IMMEDIATELY STOPPED COMING ON! This was a complete waste of money and my time and is going to cost me even more money thanks for nothing!

Installed it in my 27” iMac (2019). Installed along with the RAM that came with the iMac for a total of 24GB and it is working very well. Super easy to install. RAM seems very good quality as Crucial makes good products. After running speed tests against another identical Mac but with only 8GB, the Mac with the extra memory smoked the base model. Great easy upgrade.

I bought a late 2018 Mac Mini on sale for a great price. Apple charges premium $ to upgrade the RAM so I bought a version with standard 8GB RAM. The Mini worked great as it was, but I use it regularly for some things that benefit from more RAM. This SODIMM is built to match Apple specs and was a great value and made a noticeable difference in daily use of the Mini. Its performance scores in benchmarking apps were already good, but adding this RAM moved its scores up nicely. The Mini is harder to upgrade than a laptop that has an access panel for RAM, but as long as you watch one of the many instructional videos available online, its very manageable. Just be sure to educate yourself before attempting. As far as the RAM goes, great choice and upgrade.

Sadly Crucials memory is not 100% guaranteed to work with your system. I bought this for my 2017 iMac i7, and found that it was incompatible with the Apple supplied RAM - which believe it or not was a Micron part! For those of you who arent aware, Crucial is a brand of Micron. So it looks like their products are not compatible with themselves!
