Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 Memory for Mac CT2K32G4S266M

Upped RAM in iMac from 8 to 24g. Runs much better!

I bought 2 sets of this ram for my iMac. 1 set worked great and the other didnt work at all with my iMac. The number CT2K32G4S266M on the package did not match that number on the cards included in that package. How that happens is beyond me but I have a refund and will try again to get the correct cards. When the product is the right thing they are great.

Not only did I get these next day (gold star for amazon), but they worked perfectly in my 2017 iMac 5k 27”.

These memory modules worked perfectly in my 2020 27 Mac. Installed easily in slots 1 and 2. I did not try to utilize my existing 8GB of RAM but 32GB total should be enough. I opened several applications and it showed I was using 17GB of memory. No wonder it had problems with just 8GB of memory.

Easy to install. System recognizes the new ram instantly on first boot after install. Works great to improve speed and comes in nice packaging. Much cheaper than Apple ram.

Product received had been previously opened and contained a completely different brand and type of RAM that was not compatible.

I purchased these for installation in a new 2019 Mac Mini. Easy installation and great performance!
