I needed to upgrade memory in a laptop that was struggling with its original memory allotment of memory. the laptop, being a dell, uses common replacement parts and specifically Crucial components so this was a native upgrade more or less. As true to its reputation, Crucial memory was the perfect replacement and the system, as would be the case of any upgrade, it now a extremely more usable system than it was before! Pricing wasnt bad for the 16gb(2x8) Kit. highly recommend.

Got these to expand the memory in my 2017 5k iMac. Unlike other reviews, my machine works best when I left the OEM memory in their original slots. Otherwise they work just fine, fit perfectly, and arrived in great condition.

Been using Crucial RAM chips for years in my iMacs. Theyve never failed for me unlike the other no-name brands Apple puts in their machines which has caused me grief to say the least. Crucial is a quality brand name you can count on at a decent price. My Mac era usage goes way back to Si, Ci, Power PCs, etc. Love my Macs, but like dependable memory in them!

Good product and good price. This memory was only a fraction of what Apple wanted for more memory in my new iMac 5K. It installed in minutes and its performing great.

I did a lot of research on upgrading the memory and installing it and after reading everything the installation process was super simple and fast. It literally only took me 5 minutes from start to finish to install the memory. Everything booted up and is working normally. The memory I have installed are 2x8GB and 2x4GB for a total of 24GB. I took the new 2x8GB and put those in the slots that the original 2x4GB were in and then put the other two in the left over slots. Again very easy install and everything works great. One last thing: the Apple CSR at Bestbuy gave me false information pertaining to what I can and cant install. He was wrong in his recommendations.

Took two tries to install. I didn’t properly seat one of the Crucial modules the first time. Reinserted them again with a little more force the second time and the computer restarted perfectly with all RAM modules functioning properly.
