21-04-2025Pros: Its quiet. Super quiet. I can actually hold a conversation while vacuuming. The suction is very good even in auto mode. Can detect and adjust power when going between carpet and hardwood floors. 30-ish minutes in auto mode when doing mixed floor types is great. Enough to do clean the average house like mine. The head is the perfect compromise between width and being able to fit in smaller areas. The power head may seem small coming from a traditional vacuum cleaner, but trust me, youll be thankful once you start vacuuming in and around your dining room. You can go completely flat to the floor to get under hard to reach areas. Cons: Its top heavy. If youre coming from a traditional style vacuum cleaner you will definitely feel the weight of it on your wrist. Its bigger than I imagined. The pictures make it look deceptively small. It strughles a little with hallway runners. To be fair, so did my other vacuum cleaners. It may struggle a bit with area rugs too. Its very expensive. Very expensive. Overall Im very pleased with the Dyson V11. Id never buy one if not for the sale. Im glad I finally bought one. One thing Id like to see is maybe a locking switch for the trigger. Push on push off so youre not holding the trigger the entire time. I would definitely recommend one IF youre in need of a new vacuum cleaner and its on sale.

> 3 dayWe typically just use it one room at a time, but it should be able to last a few rooms. Its also light enough and portable enough to carry up a flight of stairs easily. There are two issues I have with it though. First, its top heavy. Which is obvious, since everything is up top. So, even though its lightweight, for my elderly parents, its not as easy to use. The second issue is more of a design issue. You have to keep your finger on the trigger. Granted its a very light trigger. But when you add in this is top heavy, it easily gets very difficult juggling the weight with the need to constantly pull the trigger. I would have preferred an on off trigger, so that you can hold the vacuum however is most comfortable. As for the vacuum itself. It sucks everything up. What I was most impressed with was how much dust it picks up. Definitely a lot more than my older vacuum. The attachments are also easy to put on, and take off. Emptying the vacuum is easy with the one touch ejection. But definitely empty the vacuum outside in the trash can, as dust does seem to fly around when cleaning it. Other than that, it does whats advertised. Can be used on carpet or hardwood floors. it rolls easy, although cornering takes a bit of work.

> 3 dayMy only disappointment is having to continue to hold down the on trigger. Everything else is perfect.

> 3 dayI actually LOVE vacuuming now. It’s so easy for quick spills or daily tidying. Plenty powerful and cordless to take upstairs, downstairs, and ON THE STAIRS. I do wish the next one will have a larger fill chamber. With two dogs, I have to empty twice, but it IS so quick to change out.

> 3 dayI use this product 6/7 days a week (yes I do) and I can tell you its really made my life easier during the last couple of years (and counting). Its a breeze to pickup dirt and debris from the floor and Im able to clean the entire house with battery to spare (~30% left once done). I can even use it to clean sofa and chairs in addition to cleaning the floor. As of this writing, this product is 42% cheaper compared to when I bought it (sigh). However, if I divide the purchase cost by the number of days Ive been using it non-stop, its been a very smart investment (less than what you spend on your coffee, lets put it that way). Now the downside - customer support is pretty much useless. Theres a known issue with the trigger that requires you to replace it after some time . Mine failed 1-week after my 2 year warranty expired. Support insisted this was either a battery issue or that the entire motor needed replacement (nonsense). I did a google search and found about the broken trigger issue and bought a replacement in Amazon. Dyson support wasnt even able to offer me a replacement trigger and only offered to notify me if it ever was available. I disassembled the machine on my own and replaced the trigger (thank you youtube). Its back in business :) In summary, this is a very smart investment and no regrets with this purchase. However, per my experience, be aware of the trigger issue and the fact that Dyson Support is pretty much useless (a shame considering the quality and functionality of this product).

> 3 dayI am the vacuum King. I think I have owned every vacuum on the market and none of them were really that great . I have a regular large corded Bissell that I normally use but the damn thing is so heavy, its like trying to push a bus so I started using a cordless vacuum for my kitchen. I end up doing the whole house but it just wasnt strong enough and it only lasted about 20 minutes. Ive always wanted a Dyson but never wanted to spend the money thinking all vacuums are the well I am beyond shocked on how well this vacuum performed. I actually cannot believe it,used this vacuum for tile floors in my whole house and all the shag area rugs. I still had 60% power left and I had to empty it three times thats how much stuff it picked up when I just vacuumed 3 days ago, I have a dog that sheds unbelievably, its also light colored hair Im white top floor so you cannot see it but its there, its crazy. If I would have known it was this good I would have spent the extra money and got the top of the line biggest one they had , but I wasnt sure so $599 was enough . if I ever need another one I will be getting another Dyson. this is by far the best vacuum I ever owned. If anyone else says anything different they are nuts.

> 3 dayI really liked this vacuum for the first two years. But it does not hold up. Particular problem is with the on/off switch. First and foremost, after two years it wont turn off. Now it is inconsistent with turning on. Suction power was great at first but now quite poor. I bought an additional filter so I could use one while the other was drying from cleaning it. Now, even when clean, very poor suction. Great vacuum and so convenient, but I cant afford to buy a new one every two years.

> 3 dayI am a Dyson Animal loyalist. This is my first cordless Dyson, and Ive had it for about two months now. I use it multiple times a day (I have a Siberian Husky...nuff said) and I maintain the vacuum exactly as directed. Its awesome, and yet there are some major issues with it. I have to give it four stars, but honestly, my other Dyson was much better. Heres my list of pros and cons: 1. Its a Dyson Animal! Dyson Animals are essential to pet owners. The amount of hair this thing picks up from my hardwood floors and carpet is amazing. No other vacuum even comes close. 2. Its very easy to empty the canister and to clean/maintain this vacuum and the filter. 3. It holds a charge for a really long time, considering that its a cordless vacuum. 4. It doesnt come with a ton of attachments, but the ones it does come with are practical and I use them frequently. You can also order additional attachments if you need them. CONS 1. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is absolutely RIDICULOUS that there is no on/off button. The vacuum is on for only as long as you press your finger against the on switch. Dyson claims this helps conserve battery life. I say, that is total BS. My finger gets pretty sore after Ive been vacuuming for 15+ minutes and pressing the stupid button down for the whole time. I paid nearly $600 for this machine and should get a freaking on/off button, for gods sake. 2. While the vacuum is easy to empty, I wish it held just a tad more stuff in the canister. Also, I always accidentally press and hold the on/off switch when trying to empty the vacuum canister, which is super annoying. 3. Theres no headlight on this vacuum. Again, a pretty basic feature that one would expect when spending close to $600. Thats pretty much it. I still am glad I bought this, as I cannot imagine my dog hair-infested life without it, but seriously, for this price, I expected a bit more. Dyson, you could do so much better.

21-04-2025It’s a little heavy but it’s a workhorse - I don’t mind
