> 3 daySuction is alright and moves around okay. Super details below if you wna keep going. I think it is cool for daily, but I would definitely say you still gotta do your floors depending on the level of traffic. I use this daily but will also sweep daily. The mapping is alright but the vacuum constantly is stuck even when all stuff out the way. I have remapped several times. It does get annoying that I cannot have this run while I am at work, I have to be present in order to utilize.

Greater than one weekAbsolutely nothing special about this things vacuuming ability. I bought this vacuum for our upstairs, roughly 700 sq ft. It takes the Roomba over an hour to do its job and it does an okay job at best, really it needs to do 2 passes 3 times a week to get the pet hair (from 1 cat), which now puts it at over 2 hours to do its job. Spectacularly unimpressive. It gets stuck in odd locations it didnt have a problem with 3 days prior and you have to go save it. After a whopping 2 months, the vacuum broke. I should have bought the warranty but it wouldnt change this review, it would just make it an easier pill to swallow having bought the wrong product, but my takeaway of I should have bought a Dyson would still stand. I understand things break and the replacement parts arent very expensive but I wouldnt have bought any product with these kinds of issues. This product definitely does NOT need vacuum bags. Unneeded design add-on to help drive up the price. A bin the customers could have dumped would have been just as easy to include in the design. I ordered some pocket zippers and hot glued them onto the back of a few bags I cut a slit in, and now I have reusable bags. Works Great! 10 out of 10 on a product idea. 3 out of 10 on product execution. Overall it doesnt vacuum very well, its slow, its noisy, it takes more maintenance than youd expect from a vacuum, especially a vacuum with a higher price tag. Cool idea, still a long way to go before this is a good product.

Greater than one weekI can control it from the app which is perfect. I have it for a pet that is staying for a few days and its cleaning up after him each day. its been a pleasure to have in my home. Noise level could be a little more lower, however, it is a vacuum at the end of the day so you should expect to hear it. The dog is afraid of it. lol

> 3 dayI really wanted to love this thing. I almost did. I even spent about an hour getting it to connect to my wifi and the app. It ran well a few times... then the error messages started up. It wasnt just one thing, it was a bunch of things-- roller issues, filter issues, needs help emptying. All of that I could probably look past and deal with, but the biggest issue of all is that the power cable does not properly fit the base, so it wiggles out and looses connection easily. It got to a point where it wouldnt charge the robot unless I was physically holding the cable into the base. I contacted iRobot and they sent me a new cable... same issue. Now Im going to try to return.

Greater than one weekI have an I3 and did not have any issues connecting it to my wifi. This I4 will not connect, there is no way to schedule it or access any features without wifi.

> 3 dayThis product is probably good for the average user, however, for me, it just doesn’t work. My American Eskimo shed so much that the vacuum can’t pick it up.

> 3 dayThe product is great! It didnt come with a manufacturer waranty, registration or a QR code to help with set up. This is strange. Product was sold to me as new, wouldnt this information be included?

> 3 dayExpectations: robot silently keeps the house clean with a 45 day auto emptying bag. Reality: noise levels are uncomfortable on hardwood or carpet. Takes an hour to clean 400 square feet, then gets tangled in hair and requires manual service. It will not set up without wifi, I spent over an hour trying to use a hotspot, it would not go though activation, so a couple times I did run it manually by pushing the button. One thing I did not hear mentioned is the NOISE, that thing is whirring, sucking and bumping into objects. It’s not pleasant to be in the same apartment while it cleans, definitely not for a work from home arrangement. What prompted me to write this review is the fact that the first ever scheduled run after connecting to wifi simply failed. I come in and find the robot dead. Later I see a notification on my phone with a cleaning instructions. I ended up taking out both brushes and cutting the hair which is tangled at both bases. Previously I cut hair from the triangular spinner. So here goes my dream of low maintenance automatic cleaning. I thought it would keep cleaning for over a month before needing my attention .The hair (over 20 inches long) is not going away. So it will keep jamming every few runs. The speed is not great, our house is mostly empty hardwood with some rugs. The history says it cleaned 400 square feet in an hour. None of the jobs ever were completed, mostly because I got tired of the noise. I moved the base station a number of times, and each map is broken, looks like I need to do another reset after finding a permanent position. Overall, mediocre. I hope the motor would not burn out due to the hair situation

> 3 dayInitially, I really thought my Roomba i4 vacuum was working as it moved flawlessly around my house seemingly cleaning my hard tile and carpeted floors. After about 10 uses, I noticed an issue where it kept telling me to empty the bag, which I didnt understand since the bag hardly had any debris in it so I thought maybe dust, dirt, or dog hair was blocking a sensor so I used microcloth and my 20yr old upright Hoover to clean any unseen dust off my Roomba i4 but this didnt rectify the issue. I then just used my 20yr old upright Hoover vacuum to clean my two SMALL rooms that were carpeted and I then confirmed that the Roomba i4 was definitely not picking up any dirt from floors as I was able to fill an entire Type Y vacuum bag with dirt, dog hair, and dust from a 10x10 sized room. At this point I returned the Roomba and Amazon (who was wonderful) sent me a replacement. The replacement immediately had a problem attaching itself to the app despite all troubleshooting; however I was able to manually push clean on the unit and it zipped around seemingly cleaning the floors. After one entire run around my 2500sq ft home, I followed immediately up with my 20yr old upright Hoover and again was able to fill a bag half full of debris that the Roomba did not pick up due to very poor suction power. I really wanted the Roomba i4 to work due to having a bad back, which makes it difficult for me to vacuum but after trying two units, which had no suction to pick up anything, I found them both defective and an expensive worthless piece of machinery! Amazon was absolutely great in assisting with my return and subsequent refund of these defective Roomba i4 units. Thank you!!

Greater than one weekThere’s so much I love about this thing…my apartment has never been cleaner! But, it constantly is getting stuck on a rug, a cat toy, or under my couch. Also, if it decides it doesn’t want to communicate with your wifi is just doesn’t do anything and fails to start. I have to manually reboot it more than I care to, considering it’s supposed to be automated. It also often leaves debris behind if it’s not just right. Also, the battery drains quick, so it’s best to work in areas rather than the whole space, otherwise it has to return and charge for a couple hours before it continues. I recommend this one as the bare minimum Roomba, don’t get anything less than this unless you basically want to do as much work as you would manually vacuuming.
