> 3 dayRoomba i4+ purchased off the Treasure truck listing. So far, a little disappointing. First off, to get it so sync up with the app - ALMOST impossible. Was just about to pack it up to return it and all of a sudden it linked. Not a great start. It did link up with Alexa quickly. A couple other notes, you can only map ONLY ONE room. Holy cow. Really? Thats disappointing. You can name all kinds of rooms, but you only save ONE room. Also, when it returned to the home base it dumped a bunch of crap that it had gathered up at the bottom of the ramp it sits on. It seems to do a fairly good job picking stuff up. It also did really well getting under things without getting stuck, over minor cords and thinner carpets. You do need to pick up shoes, etc. You do need to clear the side brush of human hair. The self emptying part seems to work fairly well, unless that is the reason it dumped stuff at the base .. (?) Then there is the part that you have to look up a use manual. Nothing comes with it. Not even how to empty the base! We use Youtube. Overall, the price was good. But youll need a lot of patience and ability (understanding) about how to get the manual or instruction on how to use. I am on the fence. Not sure I can recommend it just yet. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers.

> 3 dayI’ve only had it plugged in for a day, and when I hand carry it to an area for it to clean, it does a pretty good job. When I first plugged it in, it cleaned the same 3 ft.² of my kitchen four times. There was nothing blocking it, it just kept doing the same area over and over. Vacuums are always going to be loud, and the Roomba itself is relatively loud. But when it empties the receptacle, it sounds like a plane taking off. As suggested from the app you have to download, I’ve been trying to get it to make a smart map of my house, which has four bedrooms. It never gets past the living room, before it just stops with a red light error. I wish the manual explained what all the errors are. It will just say error 69. Or error 99. I just hit the clear the button, and it will start again. Without the map, I can’t set it up like I intended. Hopefully in the next few days, I can get it working as I hoped it would work.

> 3 dayThis is my first iRobot but third Robot-Vacuum. So far, I’m very pleased. Once it maps the house it’s off. Best part is I don’t have to remember to empty the bin.

> 3 dayI have two cats, so theres cat hair and litter everywhere in my apartment. The room with the litter box needs vacuumed daily, as well as the kitchen which is adjacent (both are linoleum flooring). The irobot Roomba does a pretty good job, but sometimes it misses things and I can still see cat litter on the floor after it vacuums. Not much though, and it really beats having to do it manually myself everyday. I vacuum the carpeted spaces once a week to once every two weeks. Sometimes it doesnt pick up the cat hair on the carpet, but it will bunch it up into clumps that are easy enough for me to pick up by hand. It does pick up a good amount of hair though. Ive had it for a couple of months now and Ive had to clean out the dirt bag maybe 3 times; Im cheap and environmentally conscious, so when the bag gets full Ive been pulling the dirt and hair and stuff out manually instead of throwing the bag away and having to replace it. So in doing that, I can see that it does pick-up a ton of stuff. The battery life is good, and yeah its loud like a lot of the reviews say, but it isnt that bad. If you can get it on sale, its worth it.

> 3 dayWhen my husband told me that he ordered this, I was skeptical. However, after not having to sweep my floor on my own for over a week, I am sold. It does not tear up my rugs, it picks up the smallest of particles. The only thing that has been complained about was by our little who got mad it sucked up some of his coins off his floor. :) Overall, it is a wonderful addition to my household and I would purchase again.

> 3 dayyes, its loud when the house is asleep, but a welcome sight midday. weve 2 dogs & this keeps up easily. sounds like a jet taking off when it empties. easy to set-up & app makes it seamless. voice command works but name your rooms simply & distinctly. dont know why I waited so long to get one...

> 3 dayI wish I hadn’t bought this, even with a steep discount. It is terrible! Takes FOREVER to clean about 1,000 square feet of our home. It supposedly has a map of the house yet it bumbles around constantly like a blind mouse. It cannot navigate very well around things like chairs and couches. Seriously, for the money it needs to be BETTER. Jobs take several hours because it can’t figure out where to go so it wastes battery driving around, no even cleaning. So it has to go back and charge before it can complete the job. I’m watching it right now and it isn’t using any kind of pattern or rhyme or reason as it bumbles around my living room. Roomba blew it with this one.
