> 3 dayThe light is very easy to attach to my kindle touch. The padding on the clip itself is great so there no chance of scratching or damaging the kindle. The light gives all enough light and even better you got two options on brightness. Another great thing I like about it is that it came with a battery in the light itself and also had two additional batteries for future use. Most time your lucky to get a battery with things these days. The light is small and dont get in way of reading. it has its own velvet carrying bag with straps while not in use. Overall the light is great. no uses that i can tell of yet.

> 3 dayWe love the Kandle by Ozeri II. I saw one being used for a Kindle on a plane in November and ordered one as a gift for my husbnad who was reading in bed holding a flashlight. He loves it and uses it all the time. Its light, very compact, and the batteries last a long time. Weve had other compact lights for night time reading but theyre heavier, inflexible and larger, and the batteries die quickly. So I just ordered one for my Kindle because were planning a big trip and I want to be able to read on the plane and in bed. Often hotel rooms have poor bedside lighting. Then I ordered an extra one for a gift for a family member. Anyone who uses a Kindle or an iPad, or anyone who reads in bed, should have one of these little lights. They are great!! Thank you Ozeri!

Greater than one weekI was really surprised after receiving the Kandle II on their attention to quality and detail. The packaging was really well done. They provide a little tool, an extra set of batteries, and a nice carrying case for the device. I was concerned when I saw it online that any light attached to my Kindle would cause a significant weight burden and make holding my device less comfortable. I dont know what materials this Kandle is made out of, but it is LIGHT. I have no issues attaching it and reading on my Kindle. The other thing is that it provides nice little felt like protection on the grip so there are no scratches onto the Kindle. The 2 light settings are interesting. I read with either one depending on my eyes sensitivity to light. There is a light drop off which is to be expected, but I am able to read perfectly fine. I really like the device and strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to read when its dark. Also the graphite color matches my Kindle.

> 3 dayI looked around and tried several lights for my new ST Nook before finding the Kandle II. This was the best one I have tried for it. It compliments the small and light weight scale of the Nook and stays on great. The illumination does fade out a little towards the bottom of the screen but not enough to give it much points off. I rated all the attributes as 5 except for the brightness, which I gave a 4. As much as I like the Mighty Bright Ultraflex 2 light I have, and used with the Nook 3G, it is too awkward to use with the ST Nook. This Kandle II fits the bill. I recommend it!

> 3 dayI use my Kindle a lot so when I wanted a light, I wanted one that would light the whole page, clip on easily and stay put when adjusted. So far, the Kandle II has met all my expectations. Not sure about the battery life. Ive only used it a few times but seems to be ok. I love the fact that it has 3 led lights and is wide enough to cover the whole page. It has 2 adjustments and 2 light settings which is nice for different seating positions. My only con is that it covers the on/off button on the top(I have a Kindle II), so I have to unclip it to do so, which means I forget to turn it off. But thats more of a me problem so I still love this light!

> 3 dayI got this for my husband as a small Valentines gift, because his very favorite past-time is reading on his Kindle Touch. Unfortunately, the one we initially received only worked intermittently, so had to be returned, but was replaced with one that works great. My husband is very pleased with the light. The beam has two settings, and covers the full width of his Kindle, as well as the full length. Its a very even light, not hot in some spots and cool in others, but consistent across the screen of the Kindle, only getting just a little lighter at the very bottom, but still quite readable even then. No more eye strain, and he can now read anywhere under pretty much any circumstances.

> 3 dayThis product is way too bright for nighttime reading. I applaud the attempt to have two different brightness settings. However, as is, the low setting is too bright and destroys your night vision. Ive tempered the brightness with a piece of scotch tape over the glass that has been darkened with black magic marker. Additionally, the clip isnt very stable. The clip isnt deep enough to find sufficient purchase on the back of my Kindle. It only grabs a few millimeters of the flat back. The slightest shake will loosen the Kandle from my Kindle. Realistically, the clip needs to be an inch longer or be curved similar to the back curve of the Kindles edge. It needs more surface area or friction in contact between devices. With these issues, though, Im still somewhat pleased with the purchase. Ill continue modifying it to achieve the desired nighttime lumens. Ill next try wiring in three microswitches to disconnect each of the 3 LEDs one at a time.

18-12-2024At $20, the Kandle is probably the best reading light I have used. The three bulbs give even illumination across the screen and from top to bottom. The clip-on design is wide and provides a stable fit across the top of my Kindle. The gray color closely matches that of the Kindle. The design is very ergonomic and compliments the Kindle well. I have used various lighting solutions for my Kindle e-reader and found that the Kandle works best for me. Other worm lights and even the Kindle lighted cover do not illuminate as evenly as the Kandle. Pros: Easy use, even illumination, nice design, and long battery life. Cons: Doesnt use the Kindles battery but this is a fair trade-off.

Greater than one weekBecause of all the issues I have read about and heard about with the lighted Kindle covers I refused to buy one. However most of my reading is done at night so I needed a light. I bought several different lights in the three weeks I have owned my Kindle and none of them worked the way I wanted. They didnt light the whole page, they had a horrible glare, they got in the way of my reading, they burned out quickly and so on. The Kandle on the other hand is PERFECT!!!! I can angle the light, it clips on without being in the way, there is no horrible glare, and best of all the light stays on the Kindle and not all over the room so I can read in bed and not disturb my husband. It also works great on regular books as my husband was using it the other day while reading. He also found that it is the perfect light to use in dark places with instruction manuals. I love the Kandle as it fits perfectly inside my neoprene cases zipper pocket when I do not need it. Plus the fact that for the price it also comes with batteries, an extra set of batteries and a screw driver for the battery compartment. Plus to order replacement batteries is only $5 for 25 batteries...that is a steal compared to the other lights I have purchased. I have used this light for a total of 49.5 hours so far and it is still just as bright as the day it arrived. Another benefit is that there are two light settings..bright and brighter so I can adjust it to fit my needs and neither one produces a glare. This light makes my Kindle experience even better!

> 3 dayI purchased this product to use while reading in bed with my Kindle Touch. Simply said, it does exactly what I needed. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the unevenness of the page coverage. The bottom of the page is slightly dimmer than the top. This is a very minor complaint however, and doesnt affect the ability to read. I also like the compactness of the Kandle. Seems a much better solution than the products that use unwieldly gooseneck lamps.
