Greater than one weekReceived the Kandle II today, and Im really impressed! My Kindle Touch was a gift for Christmas last year, and Ive been searching for a light ever since (I have a drawerful of various designs to prove it!). I havent been happy with any of them, and was seriously considering upgrading to the Paper White. Came across this little gem quite by accident and was immediately interested. It was small, no flimsy arm to get in the way or adjust, just clean lines and, I hoped, a good light without glare that would reach to the bottom of the screen. Then I started reading the reviews. I always read beginning with the newest, and Im glad I did. Apparently, when this light was first offered (I read reviews back to 2011), it had several problems, and there were many complaints. However, the reviews from early 2012 were all very favorable. Apparently this company was actually reading these negative reviews and acted on them to improve their product. The light gives a good even light all the way to the bottom of the screen, there is no glare whatsoever, and it clips nicely to the Kindle (with a Kindle cover). I cant speak to battery life, Ive only had it one day; however, this light is so amazing Im not really conerned about it, Ill just make sure I always have batteries on hand. Bottom line, Ill be keeping my Touch for a good long time because of this light. I highly recommend it to all Kindle owners.

Greater than one weekAfter trying a competitive product three, yes, three times I moved to the Kandle product and am a big fan. The product is sturdy and easy to use, plus I like that it has two settings - bright and brighter. An additional perk, it is comes with two sets of batteries - nice and considerate. On the side, I have a four year old and it is nice to have a light that is durable.

> 3 dayi bought this because i wanted to read my kindle in bed after my wife had gone to sleep. i chose the kandle because the reviews were generally positive and it seemed like a better engineered product than some of the other cheaper lights. pros: -definitely bright enough -attachment to the kindle device is secure and well designed cons: -i found the lowest brightness level too bright. on the lower brightness level, the extra light thrown off by the kandle is enough to bother my sleeping wife. -(major frustration) the circular battery door/cover must be unscrewed to access the battery. the door and the base have triangular marks that line up and there is a label that says Open. the crazy thing is that when the marks are lined up, the door is actually closed. to get the door off, you have to make sure that the open marks are *not* aligned. it was really frustrating getting the little cover off and i damaged the plastic on the back. all in all, i think i would have rather put the money spent on this thing towards a new paperwhite.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect companion for the graphite Kindle! They look like they were made for each other. No more of the goose neck light falling off or having to reposition every time I move.It does get a little darker towards the bottom of the page but not enough to affect my reading. I am not having trouble turning it on when I close it. Perhaps I close it differently than others. I was a little apprehensive about spending so much on a light. I have had a Kindle for a few years and just fought with other types of lights. I bought the Kindle 3 and found all the lights I already had way too big for it so I caved. I am so happy I did...should have done it a long time ago. Very high quality and well worth the money.

> 3 dayI looked around and tried several lights for my new ST Nook before finding the Kandle II. This was the best one I have tried for it. It compliments the small and light weight scale of the Nook and stays on great. The illumination does fade out a little towards the bottom of the screen but not enough to give it much points off. I rated all the attributes as 5 except for the brightness, which I gave a 4. As much as I like the Mighty Bright Ultraflex 2 light I have, and used with the Nook 3G, it is too awkward to use with the ST Nook. This Kandle II fits the bill. I recommend it!

> 3 dayI really dont understand why this could not have a rechargeable battery. Other than needing expensive CR2032 batteries this light is great. I just received it yesterday so Im not sure what the battery life will be. Hopefully the battery life will be very long considering its only powering 3 small LEDs. FYI - even on the lowest light setting itll still light up a room, I may try and tape something to dim it down even more so I can read in bed without disturbing my wife.

Greater than one weekIm really impressed with the way this little book light illuminates the screen of the Kindle. The three white LEDs distribute the light very evenly, and, while its a tiny bit brighter near the light source, there is no glare off the Kindles screen whatsoever, which is perfect for nocturnal reading. This light has two power settings, although there isnt much difference in brightness between the two. The lowest setting is more than adequate for situations in which a book light is needed. The light is compact and lightweight, and doesnt really affect the readability of the Kindle. Holding the Kindle with the light attached is still well balanced. My only issue, if it can be called that, is that the back clip could be a half inch or so longer to accommodate the beveled edges of the back of the Kindle. As it is, the light doesnt feel as though its clipped on as securely as it could be. Thats just a nit, however. The best workaround for this issue is to not toss your Kindle around. Otherwise, this light is an absolute joy to use. If youre on the fence about which book light to buy, you should definitely consider this one.

> 3 dayI am an old-old guy who reads constantly in a variety of situations throughout the day and evening: in snack bars, waiting rooms, fast-food joints, coffee shops, book stores, library lounges, and other such venues, where lighting varies and cannot be counted on to be bright enough for easy reading. Moreover, at one time or another I use all of the major-brand e-readers. As a result, I need a primary or auxiliary light that is small enough to be carried conveniently in a shirt pocket; that fastens securely to all my readers in either portrait or landscape position; that is stable once attached; that spreads light fairly evenly over a six inch page; that is bright; that is powered by small, easily available batteries; that is priced competitively; that is backed by a reputable company dedicated to customer service. After trying many brands of clip-on lights, in several styles, I found that on balance, the Ozeri II reading light meets my specific needs, not only best, but well enough to warrant five stars.

> 3 dayI bought this recently so I could stop bugging my husband with a lamp when I read after he goes to sleep. Its really great! It does clip on, which I didnt notice before I got it. Since the clip is so wide, I dont worry about it damaging my kindle like I did when I was using a regular book light. The light reaches all the way to the bottom of the page. The only thing I wish was different on it is that I wish it had a slightly dimmer setting. I think my eyes get sensitive at night, and it would be even less of a bother for sleeping partners that way. (I kind of assume a lot of people get them for that reason.)

> 3 dayI have used many personal book lights in my 60 + years of reading. Most of them were flimsy and poorly designed. As for lighting ones book page... mostly inadequate. I decided to try one more time when I bought my wife a new monochrome Kindle. EUREKA !! The Kandle II actually works beautifully at illuminating the reading area, it is well made and has those little refinements (e.g. auto shut-down)that please customers. In short, after many years I have finally found a book light that I can enthusiastically recommend. It is a truly 5 star product.
